Who would win in their prime between Charley Burley and Dick Tiger at Middleweight? In my opinion, Charley Burley would out-box and out-counter Tiger with quicker jabs and combinations to win a 15 round decision. What is your opinion?

Burley fought a lot more fights and lost a lot fewer.

Since Burley out-slicked guys like Archie Moore and Holman Williams -- and Tiger lost to finesse fighters like Emile Griffith and Joey Archer -- and got ripped out by Bob Foster, which was not a surprise to anyone -- I think just about anybody is going to go with Charley Burley in this matchup.

for once i agree with kalan. tiger a great fighter and I'm sure greater than burley bt burley would be too slick/smart for him

I love Tiger but Burley was all wrong stylistically for him. Burley would box rings around him.

Why would tiger for surebe greater than burley?

I'd take Burley in this one.

Charley Burley would have been champion if he and Tiger fought in the same era.
