Just been browsing the current scene and i'm seeing quite alot about Judah, which got me thinking about what if Judah V's Witter happened now, anybody think the outcome would be any different. I heard Witter ran like a pussy in that fight but his confidence is sky high at the moment and i'm just thinking maybe that power he has maybe he could KO or stop Judah, any thoughts???

Judah is still favourite. He's mixed in better class, competed at 147 and would have to be 60-40 or 70-30 to win.

Agreed...but Judah isn't as elusive as he thinks and I don't think he could badly hurt Junior either.

If Junior fought his own fight - aggressive - I'd like his chances. Certainly rather Judah than Mayweather.

If the fight were to happen, I'b be straight down the bookies backing Witter as I bet (no pun) you would get decent odds on him

Judah would still win. Witters last win I felt was a little overhyped, great result don't get me wrong but if you watch the fight closely (I'm recalling from memory here) Witter was still eating jabs even from that little italian fellow, ie he's not as elusive as he could be. That isn't good news against a guy like Judah. IMO Zab has the better skills, probably not much diff in the speed but would concede strength to Junior I guess. But I'll take silky skill over brawn, style-wise I just don't see Junior beating him. A much more winnable fight IMO for Witter would be Hatton or pretty much anyone with less movement and handspeed than Judah.

If Witter comes out aggressive I really like his chances. His speed is comparable and hits at least as hard if not harder. Plus I think Junior can hold a better shot.

Witter did very well against Judah for the first 4 rounds. Caught him flush a few times. I like Junior in this fight if it happens.

I fancy Witter's chances a lot, he has improved in his power and general Boxing, he ran a lot in the first fight but since then his confidence is a lot higher and the way he destroyed Battaglia was impressive. Judah isn't quite as clever as he thinks, his chin is poor as well and the harder hitting Witter would exploit that i think.

Judah is an overated fighter, he didn't figure out Witter at all. He won the fight of course, but it wasn't a convincing display.

The one issue that no one has mentioned is Witter's own chin. I remember him getting rocked once by a light puncher, and his new approach leaves him more open and easier to tag. Judah has lights out power, he even put Spinks on his arse (something Mayorga couldn't do).

It would still be a difficult fight for Witter, becuase he might need to be negative to stop Judah from landing (reverting back to type). We could get a carbon copy of fight one.

I hope Witter would have more confidence now, given his performances and seeing Judah beaten twice. However, he'd have to be confident about being able to take Judah's power - something I'm not sure he is. If he is, then I think he could KO Judah fairly early.

Not sure why this fantasy match is being looked at, I think Judah has fought his last fight at Light Welter.

and yes he was rocked momentarily, Haek may not be a "puncher" but that one was a good punch. Witter never saw it coming, it was a counter and hit him on the point of the chin.

God forbid it would happen again, but if it did Witter's career would come full circle and he'd be back where he was after shitting his pants the first time he beat a hasty retreat against Zab.

Zab may have levelled but look where that level is at. Miles above Witter.

Stujones, you mention Zab was unconvincing against Witter, but what does that make Witters performance? Shambolic, I'd say.

Two weeks notice he may have got last time, but give Junior ten weeks but as soon as he feels Zab's power again, off he'll go to become Lord of the Dance again.

Got to go with Judah, much more experience at top level, and has the edge in skills and power.

I'm prepared to be proven wrong about Witter, but I feel that he and Judah are flawed fighters in that they look like they are shit hot, but are not as elusive as they both think. However, it's taken top class fighters to find them out in both cases. Tszyu was of course the govenor, and Judah was way more experienced than Witter at that time.

Judah proved he belongs in top class with his fight against Spinks, however, depends on how Spinks' career pans out I guess as to how good that performance was.

There is still a question mark over both fighters for me. How well does does Judah's chin cope against another banger? Judah v Mayorga would have been a good one. Judah v Mayweather would be intriguing too.

It's a fight I would like to see definetly, but I have this feeling that Witter's new style might just play into Judah's hands. Both men have power, but Judah's is proven against a better level of opposition. Witter whilst very quick, is also very open at the moment due to his aggression, most fighters aren't quick enough to exploit the openings, but judah is classier than the guys that he has been beating, maybe not by miles, but the margins aren't that big.
