Doing the rounds on twitter? What does this mean for the Vazquez fight? I hope he does and goes back and trains with his original trainer, ridiculous he had to move camps just to be managed there. Can see a possible MTK link there also.

Cant help but feel sorry on Shane if this is true, its unprecedented a trainer losing a stable within a month , you'd think he' been just done for noncing

I agree mate. Has he suddenly become a bad trainer?

Having your trainers dad as your manager can never be a good thing if you become a successful boxer, if Frampton/McGuigan cant last then no one can
I'm a bit gutted actually, I love Frampton and that McGuigan documentary showed a tight knit enjoyable circle

While Shane McGuigan has been fortunate in taking on some finished articles, their loss is down to the promotional company not him.

I don't like to talk in rumours, but if the rumours are true regarding the Cyclone pay structure then I'm not suprised to see their fighters leaving.

My opinions about Barry changed dramatically after hearing some $$$ related stories from a reliable source a few years ago...

Apparently they owe Frampton alot of money from his past 2 fights. That has to be one the main reasons he left. However i would guess that carl did not speak with calzaghe or woodhouse before signing with Warren!

Baz never promoted Carl's last two fights. Shouldn't the pay structure be fairly simple? He gets paid, gives all the %'s to Barry's family and takes the rest home.

It's the manager/promoter set up that's the tricky one.

It's not like he brought them through from amateurs. He's still got Groves.

He should have stuck to dogs, his stable would have been intact

The Vasquez fight won't be effected I don't think.
The fight is in Taylors birthplace, he'll want the fight to go ahead regardless of what happens after the fight is over.
Whatever issues are going on at Cyclone promotions need to be sorted out quickly though, with losing a lot of big names so suddenly it's going to damage them beyond repair if things keep going like this.

If he's as good as we think, wait until Camp Eddie and Fwank start dangling the carrots.

I hope he does not leave, but rather than lose Mcguigan as a promoter have him as a manager and have either warren or hearn as promoter.
The downside with this, is the Mcguigans are really good at matchmaking for Taylor. Warren and Hearn could stall his career

I get the impression unless you're a big name like haye or groves if you want to have anything to do with cyclone you have to be promoted by Blain, managed by Barry and trained by Shane.
