He might train very few pro's but Rob Mc Cracken is my pick but I suppose with the Team GB boxing amateur success it shows how good Mc Cracken is.

Yep. The Team GB results since he came on board speak for themselves.

I think Tony Borg has to be in the argument the amount of success that's come out of that gym. that's amateur and pro too

Agreed. I'd say he's a clear number 1 in the UK currently

Have to agree with the above comments about Rob MCracken. Billy Nelson deserves a mention. What he done with Burns was phenomenal. Back to the drawing board and then to the Commonwelath and world titles.

Complete no-Brainer. Have no wish to belittle the good work of many trainers, particularly some of the small hall fighter guys,but Rob M is operating at the top of the game. Had led a team creating a superb amateur elite system, excelled with Froch and has the complete trust of Joshua.

When you hear him talking in the corner between rounds, he is absolutely brilliant. Short, simple but utterly correct messages.

Can't really say fairer than McCracken can you

He is also extremely low key, and not a self-publicist.

Agree with McCracken.

As previously mentioned Borg is completely under-rated.

Had the likes of A.Selby, Fred Evans and Cordina as amateurs who all won major medals.

Won every title as a pro. Avoids limelight like McCracken.

I think McCracken is the best in the world just now. I've been a fan since Frochs early days. Always calm and concise in giving the right advice, even though Froch gave him some moments when he didn't listen. If Froch had have listened and not been such a brawler at times he'd have took a lot less punches and maybe won the first Kessler fight.

I remember them have McCraken in the studio for comment, he didn't last very long, he put the rest of them to shame, seemed like he really knew his stuff.
Him and his brothers had big reputation as footie hooligans, I remember fighting a Dudley town hall when Spaencer was on, there was almost as many cops there as fans. Nothing went down, the cop said to me they always get overtime when one of them was fighting!

I’ve always liked listening to mcCraken he talks a lot of sense and listening to him in the corner he seems to be very short and sweet and bang on with what he says, I spoke to lee Meager once who was trained by Rob and he said he’s very knowledgeable and a really nice guy, his pad work wasn’t anything great but a top trainer

Where do people rate Steffy Bull? Not saying he is the best but he is clearly getting a good stable together with good fighters winning titles.

Got no olympians but just hard working lads.

Dominic Ingle has brought novice kids through to become world level fighters. Very highly rated by Billy Joe Saunders.

Good shout. Very under-rated on here. McCracken and Ingle are similar in that neither seem to big themselves up (unlike Tesco Joe and Booth).
