At their ongoing convention in Baku, the World Boxing Council has ordered a mandatory fight between WBC lightweight champion Mikey Garcia (37-0, 30 KOs) and WBC Diamond lightweight champion Jorge Linares (43-3, 27 KOs).

I can dig it.

One thing I like about WBC.. bar Stiverne, they have some decent mando's and enforce them..

Also bareing Adonis..

Mikey had his last fight at 140 and should focus on 140 maybe one day go to the glamour division 147.

eddie hearn will shed a tear. he seemed determined on getting linares beaten by one of his guys. linares not as there for taking as he thought. garcia will do it though. garcia very hard to beat at 135 where his power comes through full. could end early if garcia goes for it.

Garcia will catch him flying in late. Good fight. Hope it happens ASAP.

I like Linares but he doesn't have the chin to hang with Garcia.

Your right. I expect Linares to be very cagy in this one. His defence has improved in the last few years. Mikey will have to work hard to land flush. Great fight!

I thought the Linares v Campbell bout was a quality fight, both of them showed some decent skills.
That said Mikey Garcia is a very good boxer and would likely present Linares with big problems.

That's dumb. 135 is much better than 140 and a better weight for him.

Garcia takes this one by stoppage probably too
