is he banned from boxing. i think they should just rate ppl based on resume , impressiveness of win, and how active. like what if a drug cheat only gets banned from competing for one sanctioning body belts but then gets great wins for others. do we just ignore it.
and lol uh polooza at fury still being champ. if ur gonna do away with one fat lazy druggy, do away with both. at least ortiz fought within last two years.

Unless Ortiz has officially been suspended that seems a bit premature.

even if wbc suspends him. what if he can fight for other major titles. what if comissions still give him go ahead. what makes it so that a boxer is treated like he doesnt exist? if he still got wba shot and kod aj (ya right, but for example) does he still get kept out of top ten.

They still rate Povetkin...so I'd guess yes.
Ortiz will have been inactive for a year come December if he doesn't fight somebody by then...which he probably won't.
We'll see how it all shakes down.
I don't look for Ortiz to be getting any title shots though. He blew that.

The whut?! Tony Bellew? How the hell did he came up in this list? Like he has any chance against Jun Long Zhang, Tony, Dubois, name them.

WBC haven't suspended him.. they're looking out for his well-being and will pay him a visit to see the physician.

Is Bellew really the eleventh best heavyweight in the World? Chisora would tear through right through him.

no not top 11 at all. its stupid to rate him there. won because haye was injured and haye hadnt done anything in years. no sure how that earns him a spot. not like he cleaned out cruiser and looked like a force there either.

No, seems a stupid place to out him. I don't even think of him as a heavyweight regardless of the Haye fight and rematch.

Wasn't he removed though? His rating has taken a massive hit too.

Are you referring to Tony Thompson or Gregory Tony? ... Or do you mean James Toney? Or are you talking about Tony Bellew's chances of beating himself in a mirror match? Oh wait, do you mean Tony Yoka?

Asdfjkl: I did ask before but you blanked me. What is it that leads you to believe so much in Zhang Jun Long or Jun Long Zhang if you prefer?
The guy has a long string of knockouts over very average opposition. The only reasonably well known names being Jason Gavern, Shawn Cox, and George Arias . Not the young buck from the Dom Rep but the well past his best Brazilian journeyman with the same name.
Zhang has been boxng more than 5 years and is 35 years old. He seems in no hurry to advance his career, which just seems to drag on going nowhere - hey, maybe that's why they call him "The Dragon King".
I don't get it - It's even debatable whether he is the best pro Heavyweight in China with the family name Zhang .

Because I've seen him punching, he couldn't get out of China just last year and that stopped him in his carreer. I expect the other heavyweights to duck him, just like they do with Ortiz. I'd like to see a match between Jun Long Zhang and Ortiz.
I've done more of such predictions. I already said it when he wasn't even a top 100 boxrec boxer. Same with Mladen Miljas, who's a top 25 ish boxer, same with Tyrone Spong, where I said it from when he only had 2 winning fights, Dubois same story, Yoka same, I'd like to predict, somehow it regularly takes years before they are finally ranked high.
Filip Hrgovic might also become a top 30 ish guy.

I dunno about Ortiz but a good first step would be Zhang Zhilei for the Chinese title. It could be a cracker ... uh, a Chinese cracker ... doh, sorry about that

He was already challenged by Jun Long Zhang, but for whatever reason the fight never happened, I guess Zhang Zhilei ducked him, but I'm not a 100% sure about it.

Miljas is promising. He's in Canada IIRC where the Heavyweight scene is thriving. I'd like to see Adam Braidwood fight Simon Kean, I've not been at all impressed with Dillon Carmen.
I think if the high point of Hrgovic's career was to be top 20 never mind 30, that would have to be regarded as a massive failure. I see him as potentially one of the biggest threats to Anthony Joshua in a few years time. Definitely a future contender. Yoka and Dubois too, maybe Miljas, maybe Sirenko, maybe Rock ...
Tyrone Spong is no spring-chicken, and really needs to think about stepping up. Maybe someone like Joey Abell, Fred Kassi, Derric Rossy, Joey Dawejko ... someone like that at the very least. WTF is he waiting for?

Maybe it's the Chinese not wanting to see one of their two prospects lose his '0'. Why have a Heavyweight prospect when you can have two? Of course it was three but I'm wondering if we haven't seen the last of Taishan Dong, although I'm not actually sure why it is I think that. Probably there was a reason and I forgot what it was.

Tyrone seems to be a bit of an odd character, he's like: I fight and I fight for money. You advert, you promote, you talk, you everything else.
And his promotor doesn't seem to be as confident in him.
Tyrone doesn't care when, where, against who, I've seen him kickboxing against guys where the looks just said, you got 0 chance, you're too small. But in the end, he still managed to make it a very very close fight, or even win it.
But even yesterday, it became a pay to see fight, very unusual at this stage, I'd like to see him against Dillian Whyte, both in boxing as well as kickboxing and TBH I expect Tyrone to win the kickboxing match.

Only the WBA whose rankings somehow manage to make those of the WBO look respectable
