How do you guys rate Canelo defense? Surely it is no Mayweather level but seems pretty damn good to me, especially for mexican boxer.

He's got a good earmuff defense at times, good head movement at times, and this may be unrelated, but he has a hard chin as well. Put it all together, and you can forget about knocking him out.

No Mayweather, but still very good, some real slickness, doesn't also capitalize on it though, he could do with following his defense with offense more.

Very good, very slick for someone with his body type, lasts about 4-6 rounds then some of the punches start to penetrate. Very solid overall.

Showed good defence against GGG and a very good chin. Good lateral movement as well. He was hard to catch clean. Not taking anything away from him but GGG has slowed down no doubt. He telegraphed a lot of his shots and rarely targeted the body!
