Lots of question marks still, totally unproven, but I'm optimistic about him.

Think Gorman might be one that they keep Dubois away from for the next 6-12 months until they're a bit more sure about where both fighters are at. Little, Webb (assuming Gorman beats him), Allen and Cornish are probably more likely for his next few fights.

I'd take Dubois over Gorman now.

Dubois for me. As time goes on the gulf will get wider between the two. Gorman and his team probably know it, hence why they want it sooner rather than later.

Why? There's not that much of a gap in age or experience.

I think Frank will keep Dubois away from Gorman for as long as possible.
2 young brits, both great prospects... If both progress well & have no slip ups in ~18months the fight could be huge!

Webb is a good test for Gorman.
Dubois still needs a live HW opponent..

Warren has a great opportunity to build up both on BT sport... One if not both of them should be on every show he does over the next year.

gorman okay. decent hand speed. seems like maybe will be a non-puncher at higher level though. dubois big and strong but lumbering. fought crap small and glass composed opponents. but at 20 has look of a guy who will overwhelm most with strength.

probably go with dubois but think hes not as much as made out. seems like he gets rated in part just because he physically looks like aj. look at comment above about gap widening over time, as if dubois is some guy with limited am experience who just started boxing not long ago. just like aj was. but i think dubois had like 70 ams and been in it since just a kid. gorman very young guy himself despite the hair disappearing. he'll get better too.

From what I’ve seen, Gorman isn’t that impressive. Dubois wins.

He is just building what will be a great domestic scrap when it happens.

They both turned pro so young, seems like there isn't a lot of people for young big guys to fight.

Gorman had very few am fights. I think around 10 or 11,believe it or not, and had 2 losses. But in those few fights he won a junior aba title and got to the 2nd round of the junior worlds. He did win his second round bout but picked up a broken jaw so couldn’t progress on to the quarters.

I think Dubois very much grew in to the big chap he is now, so as a youth/junior am he was considerably lighter.
Gorman was a very big kid so hard to get matched. Saw him box at 15 and he was up at the am heavyweight limit then. Maybe if he’d stayed am until 20 he probably could have 20-30 more bouts. But he seems to be doing ok as a pro despite this.

duboius said he had around 70 fights. claims to have only lost 5. didnt have many as senior though. if gorman really did just have around 10 than dub actually way more experienced. even if youve been training and sparring long time you can only get so good if your not actually fighting.

Would just be nice to see Dubois in with a Natural Heavyweight rather than a Light-Heavy and a Cruiser recently.

well he was in with dave 'durable' howe. gorman was too and both won ko1. see, gorman can look like monster too with right opponents.

A real world title? No.

The IBO International Title, the IBC Silver Title or WBA Regular Youth Title could all be up for grabs in this modern boxing where increasingly the best fight the best and still can't unify anything.
