Good inside source is saying Parker v Zhang in China December , Zhang has to vacate WBO Oriental which Lucas Browne will then fight for which will get him ranked and then fights Parker in April possiably Anzac Day!! ... No Whyte fight at tthis stage

Zhang is WBO #11. So he fits the narrative ratings-wise.

JP hasn't looked good at his last few outings. Probably wise to avoid Whyte. Personally don't think a drug cheat should be able to fight for a world title so soon after getting busted but if it generates money they will let it slide I guess.

Not sure who Parker will fight at the end of this year. But all going well he will fight either Haye or Bellew early next year and then Joshua late next year.

Add Lucas Browne to the mix as Joseph Parker's next opponent.

Browne is fighting Sergey Kuzmin 11-0 in Russia in late November for the vacant WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight title. But perhaps more importantly he will probably conveniently secure a WBO top 15 ranking if successful. This would open the door to the possibility of a Parker-Browne title fight next year.

Duco playing it smart by keeping their options open. They know Eddie Hearn will play hardball with them and the best way to strengthen their bargaining position will be to have other alternatives.

From Browne's point of view he can pursue the WBA route if the WBO fight with Parker doesn't come off.
