Cunningham defending his Commonwealth Featherweight title against unbeaten puncher Bellotti on Sky this Friday coming, Cunningham is a tidy boxer and has been in with some good fighters, I never seen him beat Ben Jones to win the title but remember him losing a shut out to Kal Yafai for the British title down at Super Flyweight about a year ago, Ive seen a bit of Bellotti, he looks the goods, got good power and fights aggressive, I reckon he'll be too big and strong for Cunningham, if he were to KO him then that would send out a statement to the other domestic Feathers

Seems like the type of fight that is the bread and butter of British boxing. Prospect stepping up. Hope we have another star.

It’s a reasonable fight for the Next Gen shows - quite like the Next Gen on Friday nights.

Got a feeling Bellotti will win this.

Probably wide on points.

His win over Jones was a close one could of gone either way.

Quite like the look of Bellotti whenever ive seen him.This is definitely a fight that stood out for me on that card.

Me too - I really rate Bellotti.

It wouldn't surprise me if he stopped Cunningham.

1 of the domestic fights of the year that, superb finishing from Bellotti, the knockdown combinations in the 5th was quality and the accuracy for the stoppage in the 6th was superb, top drawer finishing but Cunningham started off excellent his southpaw style gave Bellotti problems and I thought he would be too small but he looked equally as big as Bellotti and he was landing clean and I thought Bellotti was starting to look a bit busted up but once Cunningham was hurt give Bellotti his due he never let him off the hook

I've just watched the Webber v Israel fight and I'm utterly appalled by the whole thing. If it were up to me I'd never let that referee see a ring again for allowing Israel to KO Webber after dropping him. I'm not giving Israel a bollocking, think he expected the ref to step in and when he didn't, finished it. But that was just terrible.

He looked a good fighter the lad, just got caught in the motion, their physique's were polar opposite, however so were their style's and level's. Could well damage this kid's career.

Cunningham looked bigger if anything! It's amazing he ever made super flyweight. It was a terrific fight - one of the best I've seen this year to be honest.

Bellotti finished the fight really well but if he's looking to step up further then he'll need to work on his defence and head movement. There were times where Cunningham couldn't miss. Also Bellotti spent quite a bit of time outside of range for him but within range it seemed for Cunngingham to get him with the jab and left hand.

Agreed - the big KO at the end shouldn't have happened and could well damage Webber's career.

I think these Nxtgen cards could be better.

Charlie Edwards just gave up his British title to fight a journeyman in an 8 rounder. He could have defended it here.

Ted Cheesman looked good winning the English title a few months ago yet just fought two foreign no hopers. Why didn't he defend his English title ?

Yes - the fight is definitely worth watching.

I agree - at least one of the other fights should have been more of a step up. Either for Edwards, Cheeseman, the Jonas fight was a complete mismatch but the main event and float (Webber v Israel) were both good fights.

How did Harlem Eubank look? Any reason to be excited or not up to the name?

He looked like he has some talent and it's evident in his style that he's been working with Adam Booth. However it's clear how little experience he has (similar to when Conor Benn turned pro). He was telegraphing the right hand, didn't work at times when he should have been throwing more shots and he had exactly the same approach for all 4 rounds - looking to land the big right but not setting it up. If he's kept active and keeps learning in the gym then he could be a decent fighter.
