Prince Patel

Post by Mimmy »

Why is novice boxer Prince Patel 5-0-1 fighting in Budapest tonight? Seems a long way to go for a novice fighter from the UK to be travelling around at this very early stage of his career. Can't Patel get onto any UK based shows?

Isn't the Budapest Fight Centre just some glorified gym or am I thinking of somewhere else?

Looking forward to the HBO build-up for this one.

I can hear Liev Schriber now growling "Patel hits the roads at 4am to hone his fitness, that has seen him rise to the top in the uk boxing, like a turd in the water from a man with too much fat in diet."

Still no result in from the Prince Patel v Zsolt Sarkozi fight. Surely someone must have some information?

Im guessing the reason it hasnt is because the commission hasnt provided the information officially. I'm sure if and when the commission gets in touch with the relevant info it will be added to his career.

Well the last time his opponent fought was last September and was stopped in the first by a debutant at Leeds FC, so we can assume Prince will win this one.

If he wins the UBO title, he should come back to the UK and challenge Tete in a unification fight! Could sell out the CopperBox!!

He won. He only went & beat Zsolt Sarkozi* to win the vacant Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) InterContinental Bantamweight Title.

This has to be up there with the best overseas wins by a British boxer.

Five of his opponents have a V or Z in their name.

One of his opponents had BOTH a V & a Z in his name.

Not often you find match making like that these days.
