If it were to be Charr, then the belt would be worth less than less than nothing. Could you imagine the winner of Oquendo - Charr being ranked #50 in the world with a "world championship" belt around his waist?

The WBA Heavyweight rankings make those of the WBO look extremely reasonable and that takes some doing.

I know it's not their WBA proper title but Fres Oquendo against (if it were) Manuel Charr is really going to have AJ looking nervously over his shoulder, I think not.

I think that's why they're so desperate to get him a shot at a lesser one. In this one case it's beneficial the wba has so many titles. They owe oquendo a court ordered shit, so if aj had the only belt it would have to happen. Of course that ruling was years ago.

I had no idea. That's quite bizarre.

I didn't realize Fres had pissed hot either. Makes it all the more unusual that he keeps staying in the picture like this.

He's in the picture because the court ruled in his favor. Not sure how. Oh well, I haven't seen him fight since holyfield and I never will again. So be it.
