You have to be kidding.

You would think beating a living legend would set you up for a couple of decent paydays.

Gary fvcking Corcoran?

AUS vs. ENG during Ashes season.
If Corcoran can pull it off it would be ridiculous.
Corcoran vs. Pacquiao next...

I've seen a lot of people calling this fight a mismatch etc, but if this fight was made for say the commonwealth title 6 months ago before horn beat pacquio then it would have looked like a good tear up on paper. It's hard to tell how good horn really is as we don't know how washed up pacquio was when they fought plus many made horn lossing that fight. I feel if corcoran brings his A game then he has a chance of causing a bit of shock

Where does Gary Corcoran rank in the Paul Smith award for least deserving British World Title Challenger?

And I mean in proper announced fights where the opponent has time to prepare, before anyone says Steve Robinson is number #1.

Beating a shot Pacquiao (dubiously) hardly makes Horn the second coming. Corcoran unlikely to get a decision in Brisbane mind.

Presume Duco pressed play on the remote and watched the Skeete-Eggington fight and realised Skeete is a tough night for a classic first defence fight.

Well done on Corcoran. He picked up some baubles to get his ranking and he won the raffle.

Sorry for Skeete, he's top of the class in the U.K. Who needs him club.

Hope he can get a mandatory somewhere or do a job on Mimoune for European (a fight for the purist, if there ever was one).

Made official today at a presser down under.

Absolute joke of a defence but Corcoran has a toy WBO belt so that's how he has it. He isn't the first undeserving world title challenger and won't be the last.

At least Corcoran will go for it. Will be a dirty fight though.

Still cant quite believe Corcoran has managed to get a world title shot at all let alone against Horn who mustve had some tempting offers, I thought Corcoran was lucky to beat Ekundayo and he was stopped from Williams so you'd imagine a guy coming off a win(deserved IMO) over Pacquiao would be a heavy favourite which I'm sure he is

Taking away the fact that this is a poor defence from Horn, stylistically I think this is a great match up, its gonna be a war, both guys like to be aggressive fight on the front foot and have great engines, for some reason I think Corcoran has a real chance of causing an upset, has Horn got the skillset of Williams or even Ekundayo?

Horn seemed to fight Pacquiao at the right time and Manny couldn't live with the pace Horn set, Corcoran has one of the best engine and punch outputs in the country so for that reason I fancy him to give Horn plenty probems, I think it will be messy and there will be blood but it will be give and take

I'd still make Horn the favourite fighting at home and being the champ but I reckon it goes to the wire

Why is this fight midweek am I missing something or is this common in Australia?

I know there is also a card happening in the UK on Wednesday but that is pretty rare and originally there was a reason for it, to form the build up for Haye v Bellew.

Need to work Wed so will have to record this and watch when home. Think the show starts at 10am. The undercards pish and Corcoran will lose a UD anyway but I'd have still liked to have watched.
