I'm with ya. Takam's a better, and more interesting opponent than Whyte for my money as well.jamamb wrote:ppl slagging off hearn, saying rather have whyte. takam better fighter than whyte imo. though i understand more demand for better known local guy. think really good opponent for such short notice.
Takams a dud, hes coming over to fill a spot and lose.jamamb wrote:ppl slagging off hearn, saying rather have whyte. takam better fighter than whyte imo. though i understand more demand for better known local guy. think really good opponent for such short notice.
agree. think hes more durable though and will be able to take shots longer before getting kod.Boxerbeetle wrote:Decent replacement at short notice. Takam has virtually the same chance to win as Pulev imo (i.e. virtually none).
No it's not, Pulev would ruin Takam.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:This is more interesting than pulev.

Pulev doesn't ruin anyone.BitPlayer wrote:No it's not, Pulev would ruin Takam.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:This is more interesting than pulev.

if you HAD to pick one which way would you go?jamamb wrote:takam-pulev would be a super competitively matched fight.
agree. pulev is tailor made to be slaughtered by aj. no power to get respect, chin up, doesnt take a shot well. takam is more durable and will prob be backing aj up more.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Kubrat may well beat takam, that doesn't mean he's a better opponent for aj. Certainly doesn't make it more interesting to me.
lean pulev. not saying takam better fighter. but i think they've on similar level and takam has style to make for better fight. hes very good replacement at this notice. has been hovering around top 10-15 for years and isnt some late scrub.wesshaw1985 wrote:if you HAD to pick one which way would you go?jamamb wrote:takam-pulev would be a super competitively matched fight.
Lol, so whom they've lost too is the measuring stick? All that shows is takam has been in with a better quality than pulev has beaten. Is his best win that oaf Ustinov?wesshaw1985 wrote:this.BitPlayer wrote:No it's not, Pulev would ruin Takam.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:This is more interesting than pulev.
Pulev only ever lost to Wlad.
Takam has losses to Parker, Povetkin and Gregory Tony and a draw with Mike Perez.
Pulev beats Takam and is a stiffer test for AJ...
Yes, the only chance either has is sheer exhaustion. Takam is more equipped to get there.jamamb wrote:agree. pulev is tailor made to be slaughtered by aj. no power to get respect, chin up, doesnt take a shot well. takam is more durable and will prob be backing aj up more.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Kubrat may well beat takam, that doesn't mean he's a better opponent for aj.
