Takam would beat the crap of Whyte , Breazale

Let's be honest. Takam would beat those guys and it would be pretty easy on points atleast.
Whyte is not on Takam's level and he would get outboxed.
So this could be realy great fight because Whyte landed some shots too.

It COULD be a really great fight, but probably won't be...
Because Joshua is making leaps and bounds of progress with every fight ... and in his last fight he increased his total professional ring experience by over 25%.. I say "over" 25% because he went from 44 to 55 rounds experience in one fight by adding 11 rounds -- and a higher percentage of his previous rounds were shortened by extremely quick KO performances.. So he should see stuff and get a lot of things to work on out of of those 11 high value rounds.
I'm not exactly sure what Wilder gets out of every one of his fights... Probably not as much cuz he doesn't look vastly improved from the Stiverne fight.

Takam is a low risk, tune up fight for Joshua. 36 yrs old, 6'1",and was beat clearly by what most consider the weakest heavy champ, Parker. Why even mention Whyte or Breazeale? Wannabe gatekeepers is about all they hope to be. Little Mansour won every round vs Breazeale before having to stop because of injury. Whyte was stopped by Joshua about halfway through the fight. Not even close to as good as an old shot Wlad.

Whyte and Takam are pretty close. I don't think anyone would clearly win that fight. Breazeale is super unproven though, and there's a chance that he might get exposed if he ever fights someone of the Whte / Takam caliber. He didn't even legitimately beat Mansour, and Mansour is several dozen ranks below Whyte and Takam.

Did you think Whyte deserved that decision over Chisora?

He'd definitely beat Breazeale. I think of Whyte vs Takam as a fairly competitive match, but I'd probably favor Takam.

I thought he edged it.

there are no fighters of high risk for Joshua now
some risk bring Povetkin, Wilder, but both very likely get stopped
i hope that Hrgovic gets some experience quickly and we'll see Joshua vs Hrgovic in 2019

Yes. The majority of the boxing public did. The jury's already ruled on this. There's no reason to, in October, continue casting doubt on a guy that legitimately earned his spot 10 months ago.

I'm pretty sure that anyone who was reading the forum 10 months ago would recall that a majority of the forum went with Whyte. Oh, nope, you just joined 1 month ago. I guess you wouldn't remember then.

this fight was very close i think i had it 115-113 for Chisora, but never re-watched the fight again, very even fight, probably a draw could be the best decision

Hmm, and the Ghost of Chisora no less. I saw more people scoring that fight against Whyte than for him. Didn't think Whyte won either. Not quite sure what people see to think he's a good HW, his durability seems to be key.

Chisora won that and even rocked Whyte once or twice can’t remember. I do remember though mid way through Whyte got stuck in Chisoras groin area and Chisora gave him a few pumps, one of the funniest things I’ve seen during a round.

I thought the Parker Takem fight was really close. It could have gone either way or a draw. I thought Takem won by a round, watched it 6 months later and thought Parker won by a round.

How Whyte and Takam are pretty close? I can not imagine Whyte winning more than 4 rounds against Povetkin.

Whyte wants to be WBC champion but even $4m won't get the champ in the ring with him. Why do you suppose that is?
I've heard a lot about Hearn imposing strings on the offer. Contractual commitments to future fights, that sort of thing. I wouldn't put it past him tbh, but it's only posters on here that have suggested this to my knowledge. Wilder is not going to keep quiet about it if that was the reason he wasn't prepared to go forward with it is he, but I don't remember hearing anything about it coming from him or from Haymon.
Breazeale too has designs on the WBC title. He came through a really exciting tough encounter with the highly touted Izu Ugonoh. I don't think the 2017 version of Stiverne would stand a lot of chance against Takam, Whyte, Breazeale, or Wilder. It is said that he got battered in sparring by Joe Joyce who makes his pro debut tomorrow. Wilder will destroy him.
I consider Takam, Whyte and Breazeale to be on roughly the same level, and If I were to predict a winner in any fight between two of them I wouldn't be doing it with any confidence at all.

I agree with this except it’s not a tune up, it was an opponent with 2 weeks to go to prevent cancelling g the show and losing a shite load of cash. At least this way he’s fulfilled the ibf mandatory and can move on

As for the OP, I think you can blanket Whyte Takam and breazeale under 1 level. None of them are beating the crap out of each other, they’re fairly similar, strong but limited and plenty game to fight

And? That's about how many rounds Takam won before he got knocked out. You might have a point if Takam won like 10 rounds against Povetkin. Wait, what do you think happened in the Povetkin - Takam fight, exactly?
