Ormond won that fight, hyland doesn't seem to be a fighter capable of completing the distance successfully. He started the fight well.

Howard has been known to post on here occasionally. Maybe he can run us through his card ? These judges are absolutely killing the credibility of the sport IMO

I'm no expert but I had Ormond winning the last six rounds handy. Few close rounds at the start and the knockdown for hyland. Probably 8-4 ormand . Three point win due to the knockdown. Gutted for him. Had a tenner on him at 9-4 but more gutted for fighter and trainer

it disturbs me how little accountability there is for judges. even with the canelo-ggg atrocity best we got was 'it was just an off night, we support her'

Same as Valerie Dorsett and Sucre on Sat night.

Dorsett had Burnett 70-63 up after 7. Now ZZ won 1&2 and 6 (IMO)

Andy Lee had it 57-57 - after 6 - fair reflection and she sitting 60-54 and ZZ hasn’t won a round - WTF are they watching ?

It was a very poor card, even if you allow yourself to prefer the nice shots and eye catching footwork and sometimes fast hands you cannot come up with that score card, I like Howard but it's a bad one.

It's one of those score cards you look at and think, ok you might be a couple rounds off how most of us scored it, you might have it a draw,maybe even at a stretch score it very narrowly in favour of Hyland

But there is no conceivable way you can score 10 rounds to Hyland. It just isn't possible as long as the person judging has 2 functioning eyes. Ormond won more than 3 rounds clearly, rounds that simply weren't "a bit of what you like", they were clear cut.

I don't believe we can keep blaming incompetence.
She can't be that shit at scoring a fight, she really can't be

That was judge Valerie Dorsett’s scorecard. Howard Foster scored 114-113 & if it weren’t for the knockdown it would’ve been a draw. Not offering any opinion, just stating the fact.

hyland was the a side and fighting at home.

Sadly I think the UK is the worst in the world for home town decisions these days.
