i occasionally sit down, scroll through
youtube to watch a historic fight. would
be of great help, if people with more
knowledge than myself would share for
different fighters what their very best
performance had been.
please help me out on:
marvin hagler
wilfred benitez
jake lamotta

Off the top of my head, Hagler shined against Tony Sibson.
Benitiez was great against Antonio Cervantes.
Camacho looked great against Bazooka Lemon

Little confused with the LaMotta-Camacho thing.
Anyway, Camacho's best fight was probably vs Limon.
Hard to say with Benitez and Hagler. They each had several that were about even.
LaMotta is difficult because so much of his career is not avaialble on film. Obviously the win over Robinson would have been his best result.

I'd say Duran for benitez, hamsho 2 for hagler and I haven't seen enough of Jake for a very educated answer. Beating Robinson would have to be up there.

Alan Minter.. Maurice Hope.. Sugar Ray Robinson W 10.. Ray R was saved by the bell from a KO loss (today it would be a KO) and Jake won by a wide margin: ....

one poster asks and the next answers.

next names his best fight?
