Why do people act like this boy is something special?

He fought nobodies like Charr , Mariusz Wach , Dohoupas (1 day notice) or Rudenko in recent years...


He struggled against Takam who recently lost against Josepr Parker.

He did not land any single good shot against Wladimir.

He has poor defence and overrated chin - he was knocked down by Wladimir's jab in second round lmao

I don't know about overrated, but he's over discussed. It sucks for Wilder his status on here doesn't transfer to the sport. He's at a Mayweather level on boxrec. Probably even more. You really had to work to discredit Floyd. Wilders weak resume isn't enough for these maniacs.now that Wilder has set up Ortiz, povetkin can fade away.

it blows that ped-wilder never happened. im pretty confident even with drugs povetkin would've been ko'd. but of course then povetkin wouldve turned into a bum and ortiz wouldve been the 'real' threat.

I was never overly excited for that fight.

Povetkin isn’t really overrated though. It’s a sign that the division has little talent that he gets discussed. He got dealt with by Wlad, he get dealt with by josh, against wilder I’m not sure. I’d take him to beat Parker though

I can see Takam (well-prepared Takam) beating Wilder
have you seen Pov-Wlad fight? Klitschko should be DQ, also, Haye was not much better vs Wlad
these punches that Wlad landed to Povetkin could KO most of fighters, and Povetkin still continued to fight, most fighters not survived with Wlad the full distance. Joshua was even more hurt vs 4 years older Wlad. Povetkin was also very exhausted by Wlad's clinching technique.

Since most of people rank Wilder above Povetkin, some ranked Ortiz above him too before his PED case, hell, there are people who rank Parker above him, so i think he is underrated

It depends on the demographic. Some people on here care deeply about him. I live in the us, as a whole nobody here cares about Joshua or Wilder, much less povetkin.

I do not respect his resume at all :) But atleast he tried two big fights :)) Not his fault his two opponents were two roided heads Povetkin and Ortiz.


Povetkin aka the biggest PED suspect and Ortiz who already failed tests 3x ) Yet some turds blame Wilder for that.

PEDs or not, because let's face it most use PEDs, some better than other... Povetkin had one of the most devastating inside game of the last decade at HW... His ability to quickly reposition his feet and land that full weight transfer compact hook on the button has KTFO many top HWs.
