sorry lad had a few pints after works and thought today was Friday i'll edit that !

I'm on earlies over the weekend so wont be stopping up for the fight. I like to be in bed at around 10pm when im on earlies and this fight does not warrant me to lose sleep over. I'm pretty sure AJ will win so ill try to watch the reply on Youtube or something.

Yeh, ive watched all Aj's fights to date but cannot justify losing sleep over this one. I will kick myself if this turns out to be Tyson v Douglas when I check the results at 6am. I didnt stay up for the Tyson fight either when he fought Douglas and nearly choked on my morning coffee when I put on CEEFAX.

ah sir , you have a few more years on your clock than myself I remember getting into boxing just Audley fought Harrison (first time)

I watched all Tyson's fights at silly o'clock in the morning and literally could not believe what was happening when round after round he got battered,the single biggest upset in boxing history in my time.

I remember when satellite tv first came out in this country and I bought a second hand dish and box for £150 in a second hand shop near Middlesbrough. I lived in a flat at the time but got it mounted and was buzzing when I could get loads of channels that had boxing on. RTL, TV1000 Screensport etc. I used to be up all times of the night as well and wouldnt miss a fight.

I just never thought Douglas would beat Tyson. Wish I had stopped up for it now though.

I’ve got tickets as it’s in my home city and I like attending live shows.

But if it was being held somewhere else, I wouldn’t bother traveling for it or buying it on PPV.

If its close to you you have to go being a boxing fan. The issue for me where I live its 20 miles in either direction before you hit civilization and a road that has 2 lanes. Up here in North yorks its not a great place to live if you are a lover of sports. The nearest venue for boxing for me is Leeds, 90 minutes drive, or Newcastle another 90 minute plus drive. The beauty of living in the middles of the country such as Leeds is that you have everything close by or by motorway or even by train. Here in the sticks its a pain in the arse to get out and see people.

I had a collection of about 120 video tapes of mostly 80' and 90' fights and offered them free on here and didn't get a single taker so had to bin them as i didn't have the room for them,some of them i've never been able to find again anywhere.
