Andrew Golota had 111 wins as an amateur.
here is Andrew Golota at the 1988 Olympics representing Poland
first he had defeated Svilen Rusinov of Bulgaria (5-0)
next in the quarter-finals he fought Harold Obunga of Kenya (5-0)
and here is iin the semi-finals against Baik Hyun-Man of South Korea.
This looks like one of his post-Olympics amateur fights in December 1989.
( or is this Janusz Zarenkiewicz vrs Andrew Golota?
it looks like Andrew Golota in the White trunks anyway) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMKB4IeU5KA
Does anyone know which professional fight of his was the first to be either locally or nationaly televised ?
(his first pro fight debut was on February-07-1992)
The earliest footage of one I could find so far is this one ,
his 10th professional fight from March 1993 against Bobby Crabtree at Union Hall Countryside in Illinois.
(which looks to have been video-recorded from a home camera from the audience )
btw it was this fight that got RING magazine attention to him in which they did a write up on him)

To sum it up at this point.Of Golota's first 20 professional fights (from Febuary 1992 to August 1994)
7 were either filmed or televised.(2 from home recordings from audience).
Also it looks like it was around his 20th fight that Golota appears to have picked up some habits.
The ref warned him of some stray shots below the belt in the Lampkin fight
and it looks like he started to get the neck twitch thing going on seen in between rounds of that fight too.
BTW if anyone knows of any earlier Golota fights that were filmed, please post here.

Thanks for posting these. Golota was one of my favorites growing up; only a few of these I have not seen.
Oddly enough, I just had a big equipment delivery from Chicago last week and my delivery crew were Polish; we got to talking and I asked if they were all Golota fans (I interject boxing a lot) and they were surprised I knew him. Of course they were all huge fans.
Does anyone remember the little vignette leading up to *I think* the first Bowe fight. They're listing off these different famous polish dishes and beers saying "famous Polish beer, famous Polish sausage" and then they get to Golota and they say "Not so famous Polish boxer". Golota says in his broken English "I'm not so famous as them, but maybe after this fight I will be." I've not been able to find this on youtube but I remember laughing as a youngster when I watched it.
Re: Andrew Golota/Filmed/televised fights( 1988-1996)
Yes, I remember that vigenette with Golota and they pan and show him standing next to a Polish sausage.
It was shown at the very beginning of the live HBO Championship Boxing live feed, which I remember
was shown at an unusual time on a weekday (Thursday)at about 5 pm in the afternoon July.11.1996.)
That's it, I remember it was on a Thursday as well--I went with my dad to a friends house to watch it.

yeah, dude, I used what has been already posted on youtube by others for my source of reference for the thread here.
I'm not wealthy like you so I can't go around purchasing boxing videos for my personal collection to watch.
However I noticed on those Andrew Golota 'career dvd's" that are for sale on-line
that whoMever puts em together don't seem to want to bother placing the video's of him fighting in chronological order
like I have placed them/
also a exmination of whats available on youtube, there are a least a couple that were not on the career dvd's
such as Golota's fight with Donnell Wingfield,(a home recording)which wasn't much of a fight but its still boxing history.
