A nice stadium, would need to be Summer time, as Scotland's weather isn't really the best.

The last fight/event that took place at Hampden Park was Mike Tyson vs. Lou Savarese in June 2000. It left a sour taste in many peoples mouth and is kind of memorable for the wrong reasons.. Prior to that, the last event according to BoxRec was in the 1940's.

Hearn already claims that Joshua is too big for the O2 Arena and now strictly a stadium fighter..

So what say, Joshua complete his Stadium tour with Hampden?

Why stop there. They could do what they did in the old days and continue the tour.

He should fight in the Faroe Islands. Lovely people & friendly sheep.

I'm a Scotland supporter and I think Hampden is a sh1t stadium.
Most Scots do, It's a shallow soulless bowl with the seating too far from the pitch.

As someone who dislikes Celtic and thoroughly dislikes visiting their stadium, I think It's fair to say I'm you can take my word for it when I say, Celtic park is one of the most atmospheric venues in the country.

I'd enjoy partaking in that atmosphere without having to listen to 59,000 of the participants gloating at my team getting pumped

Yeh, there are other stadiums. I was just referring to national stadiums.. but yeh, Twickenham, Old Trafford, Emirates, Villa Park, Etihad.. all decent stadiums..

Yeah get him back on a stomping ground that he’s familiar with, smallervarena but it’s indoor so the atmosphere is still good. Gives the stadium fights that extra special feeling when they do happen.

He’s that big that selling tickets for stadium fights aren’t a problem it seems though

Eden Park in Dorkland holds 50,000 in the stands,add maybe 2,000 on the pitch depending on how you pack them in. But it does not have a fancy pants roof or anything. We can host a lot of visitors though. There were about 22,000 Lions fans here earlier this year and I didn't read of any pie shortages. Although camper rentals were scarce because the tight arses wouldn't pay for hotels. They also wouldn't pay the extra soil fees for the camper toilets and our laybys were covered in Kipper sh*t

If he fought Wilder in America they should forget Vegas & have a butchers at Wilders hometown of Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide have a stadium that holds 101,821.

How many Joshua fans would fly out for that?



Interestingly enough Wembley is the 17th largest stadium in the world (capacity-wise). There are ten stadiums which hold over 100,000 - although they'd probably have more for a boxing event.

boxing doesnt do huge gates like that in the us. wilders previous best in alabama was just barely over 10k and josh isnt a household name in america

Fair point but AJ's fights are being shown here & I do reckon Joshua could bring 30,000 over (although maybe to Vegas rather than Tuscaloosa ). Plus it could be wishful thinking as I can drive to Tuscaloosa. It's only 600 miles away.
