Not sure if this has been asked on here before but do you think Eddie secretly wants Haye to smash his mate up in their rematch?

If Bellew wins again he probably retires & joins Froch permanently at Sky.

But if Haye wins, and does so with a spectacular KO, then Hearn has a big name opponent for another 90,000 supershow at Wembley. You know the PPV figures will be through the roof for that one.

personally I think who ever wins is a possible challenger at Wembley. Even if Bellew has said he wouldnt fight Joshua I cannot for 1 minute believe he would turn down millions. I think its a potential fight for either Haye or Bellew thats where the serious dough is. While I think AJ would beat both boxers I think he would have a harder time with Bellew. I dont think Haye is cracked up to what people think. Hes not fought a serious heavy in years. Bellew hasnt either but I tend to think Bellew is harder than Haye.

I don't think I'll bother with the sport if Bellew becomes the no.1 heavyweight in the world....Wilder would get some erection if he saw that.

I hope Bellew beats Haye again. I also hope Haye doesn't suffer a debilitating injury midway through the fight so that there's no excuses when he's beaten.

Really? That's crazy to think. I wasn't born when he won the title so I can't imagine what it was like, the reaction and atmosphere. Britain seem to love an underdog then sh!t on them if they do well.

I can't see Bellew wanting to fight Joshua unless it's Mayweather-McGregor money. He's already made after beating Haye, and their rematch'll reinforce that. So I imagine that Hearn wants Haye to win, simply because Haye would accept that Wembley fight next year.

Haye would sell much better, but you have a much greater risk of the fight not coming off for any dozen reasons.

As to Bellew winning, I just can't see how he ever does barring an injury. He lost rounds to a one legged man last time out. That's hard to do!

Bellew’s just a fat domestic level cruiserweight which is why he won’t fight any serious world level active fighter

The fact that Sky regard him as some kind of boxing sage speaks volumes for the dumbing down of their boxing coverage over the last few years

Bellew woulf get flattened by AJ. The most dangerous cruiserweight and the most valuable heavyweight on the planet would be battered within 4.

His toughness wouldn't get him through AJs furious attempt to stop him. Takam is smaller but looks like a heavy compared to bomber who looks like a blown up light heavy.

The upside would be he would sulk of back to merseyside, his ego wouldn't let him be seen on TV as a loser.

I still don't see him beating haye IF and its a massive IF isn't carrying any injuries and is fully fit. Hopefully he comes in lighter too. Haye was winning with ease until his heel went. This time round with serious training he could be alot better.

Bellew on Talksport now, he again says wont fight AJ or Whyte.

Not really sure why hes fighting at heavyweight for if he wont fight anyone except Haye.

He doesnt have a clear plan if he beats Haye so it looks like he has no further interest after the Haye fight.

He did say he has a better resume than Parker at heavyweight so that could be his final route at heavyweight. To be honest not really sure he has any bother for further world titles. Just Haye and no definate plans.

The winner would still need to get at least one good win over a decent and active heavyweight before they could be sold as a potential opponent for AJ.

That could well happen on AJs next undercard, possibly against Whyte.

Bellew vs Joshua won’t happen. Bomber doesn’t want it and Joshua has too many others in the division to keep him busy.

Personally I hope haye knocks out Bellew. Hayes time is done, but Bellew is an awful heavyweight and has no business up there

Hearn would make a win either way work for him

Good point an yes I think Hearn would like haye to win. This will be Bellew last fight.

Bellew would beat Parker. After he KOs Hate I think he'll face Parker. The opportunity to be a 2 weight champ will be hard to resist.

Yeh i know that,but to even hold the WBC title was a low point for the heavyweight championship for me.

Although when you consider what came later, Oleg Maskaev as WBC champ, Sam Peter, Bermaine Stiverne... Bruno looks all right by comparison!

I think he can. Injuries add up over time, and slow ya down even if they're not still currently dislocated, or broken or torn or whatever the case may be.

I've just never liked Haye so if he loses I'll be glad of it. If he wins, he probably gets Anthony Joshua so either way he'll ultimately lose, but I'd rather see him lose to Bellew because it'd sting more.

As long as he doesn't get an injury that stops him walking or swinging his arms (ruptured Achilles for instance)
He beats Tony Bellew.
He was beating Tony Bellew, he would have beaten Tony Bellew had it not been for the injury, Bellew couldn't even stop him when he couldn't walk.
He will beat Tony Bellew unless he gets a debilitating injury ( which is highly likely of course)

I think Bellew retires either way & will do his best to take Haye with him.

12round decision for Haye, a quick wink into the camera from an unscathed Tony B, cushty job commentating for sky, kids set up for life...

Bellew talks harder than Haye, that’s about it. Haye is harder, tougher etc, whatever way you want to describe it, always has been. People get confused because he’s a playboy type who is a bit in to himself. That has no bearing on how tough he is. He’s as hard as nails. How do we think Bellew would get on with Chisora inside or indeed, outside the ring? He’d get splattered

Everyone knows Haye is done and even then it still needed a washed up Haye to suffer a massive injury for Bellew to get the win.
Obviously a prime Haye would bounce Bellew off the canvas, even Tony has pretty much admitted that himself.
