Worse fights to NOT happen?

On top your head, what's the worst fight that was scheduled, to never take place? Whether it was UK based fight or USA, or wherever it might have been..
Whether the fight was withdrawn because of injury, last minute injury, promotional issues etc..
Any fight's come to mind?

At first I thought you were asking what's the worst one you hate that you missed out on, but it seems you're asking which one was just a crap fight that probably never should've been scheduled in the first place
And for the record...I think you started off with one that's gonna be kinda hard to top...or should I say bottom

That was a farce but it might have been entertaining.
The worst is probably some cancelled snorefest between a couple ambitionless plodders.

I was expecting a KO win for Briggs..

Not exactly in line with the question you’re asking, but fights that did happen, but way too late
Jones Jr vs Hopkins 2 (around the time Hopkins had just beat Trinidad)
Leonard vs Hearns 2 (rematch 9 years after the first, too late)
Mayweather vs Pacquaio (around the time Pacquaio has iced Hatton)
Tyson vs Holyfield (about 7 years too late)
Sorry I know this has nothing to do with the question you’re asking!

Maybe, wlad hasnt been offensive without being threatened in a long, long time. I don't think the fight could possibly live down to the first one, but I had no intention of watching it.

Holmes vs Foreman in 1999 - although there was some intrigue with it.

Yeh, and instead we got Tann..
Grant is a much bigger name than Tann, but Hearn was getting sliced for announcing Whyte vs. Grant

Leonard vs Hearns 2 was still one of the fights of 1989.

Audley Harrison vs Frank Bruno.
Lennox Lewis was lined up to fight some great names in his absolute pomp... Just after he was demolishing the likes of Briggs (Lineal champ) and Golota (considered a geniune threat) he was lined up to face.... wait for it.... Lou Savarese or Jimmy Thunder.

Carl Frampton vs. Andres Gutierrez
Not too sure about this.. Although it was a homecoming fight, I had a feeling it was going to be boring.

IT wasn't ever scheduled but always spoken of, Hatton V Witter would've been a fuckin awful fight. To be fair most Witter fights were like pulling fuckin teeth!

Any mooted Ali fight in the late 1970s (Alfio Righetti, Bernardo Mercardo, John Tate...).

Not sure what the problem was with this fight.
Just look at this flyer, everything about it oozes class.

Should have been straight after Pac smashed Cotto. It would have been 2 or 3 times as big.

12 million buys? I think not. It would have been a better fighter with Manny juiced like a body builder. I don't think it would have been bigger.

What if he meant 'big' as just big.. not PPV buys. I guess only he can tell you.
