What will happen in 2018

2016 was the worst year of boxing in a long time. 2017 was in my oppinion the best boxing year maybe ever. Joshua vs klitschko was more fun to watch than ali/foreman. Canelo finaly fought GGG. 147 stepped up. In some time the 2 best amateurs ever and right now the 2 best boxer on the planet face each other and eubank showed one of the best KO i have ever seen. WBSS is just great.

What happens 2018

I think it continues the exact same way. The top guys fighting the top guys. Gvoz and bert conquering the division. Thurman vs spence will happen. Hopefully jacobs vs charlo or inoue against either estrada or wangek.

What u think how will it be.....

I think we see AJ vs Parker, Garcia vs Easter Jnr, Usyk vs Gassiev, Groves vs Degale, Eubank vs Smith, Dubois vs Joyce, Josh TAYLOR in a world title fight!

That looks great. What do you think about charlo and jacobs future. Do they get canelo or GGG in 18?

Joshua v Parker.

Golovkin v Alvarez 2.

Tyson Fury gets even fatter.

Amir Khan pees away another year whilst jabbering away on social media.

David Haye once again raids his local cemetery for yet another 'comeback' opponent.

Bermaine 'B-Cup Stiverne announces his retirement.

TV Tokyo completely walk away from boxing (sounds like it's already happened)
TBS VS Fuji TV will be the big battle in Japan, and they will go on putting on some monster stacked cards
Inoue will return to the US
The Minimumweight division will see titles unified
The 108lbs division will provide at least one SOLID FOTY contender

Stevenson retires after or possibly before Alveraz.
Joe Smith Jr rematchs Barerra.
Tyson Fury fights twice, but not AJ.
GGG Vs Canelo
Katie Taylor Vs Delphine Persoon in Ireland.
Povitkin Vs Pulev.

Darn it!
I forgot about Taylor
I agree, if his management have the clout to swing it.

An undisputed Cruiserweight and Middleweight champion.

Possibly an undisputed heavyweight champion and super flyweight champion. But at least a clear number 1 in those weights.

I really hope Thurman and Spence happens but I think PBC will mess it up.

Hopefully we see the end of Adonis Chickenson. By end he gets ktfo.

I also think we may see a few moves from PBC to HBO and ESPN as well.

Do u think pbc will survive?

I hope they go broke like it sounds they will. Haymon was always portryad as a big boss. It looks like the real big boss's were those who gave him 500 million and now the money is burnt i heard. It would be great. Perfect scenario would be them going to golden boy, bevause oscar is always about letting the best fight the best and not playing waiting games.

Lh division is a disgrace. I am tired of bert, kov, chickenson and gvoz to finaly fight it out...

Outside of showtime I'm not sure. Espinoza seems to actually like boxing and in fairness to them they have tried to make decent fights this year.

Whilst the inactivity suits some like Gary Russell who doesn't care and Chickenson I think some guys actually want to fight more. I think Eddie Hearn may sign one or two from there for HBO like Danny Jacobs.

Light heavy will bring some good fights next year. Bivol will have a legitimate test. Gvozdyk can't hang aroun and neither can Beterbiev. Kovalev won't want to pad his record either.

Haymon has spoiled a lot of these guys by giving them abnormally large paydays to fight no hopers. Now they want Fort Knox for any slightly dangerous fight. Most of Haymon's guys don't have sense enough to understand the reality of their worth, and price themselves out of every significant fight they could ever be in.

and that is the perfect response.

Jay z and haymon realy gave out millions for poor opponents. Now adonis thinks he is floyd and deserves 100 million vs kovalev

Them guys realy stupid.

2017 has been decent, hopefully 2018 can be the same. Wilder is going to ko Joshua and then lose the rematch in 2019. Thurman won't fight spence.

I'd like to see Mikey Garcia continue to up the competition and further his cause to a legitimate P4P Top 10 spot.
