Briggs is brain damaged. To have Fury tee off on his graying head for 9 rounds (my prediction) is tantamount to having an ageing silverback get battered by a young buck....

I like Briggs as he entertains me and seems a decent enough guy even though he's not playing with a full deck but if he fights Fury then it'll be another prolonged Vitali-esque beat down and I don't really want to see that again. I was genuinely uncomfortable watching Briggs get beat down against Vitali.

Briggs reminds me of that idiot in a camouflage suit & shades who Mike Tyson hired when he came out of prison to shout at people & intimidate his opponents because Mike wasn't scary anymore.
He was a right dick & Briggs reminds me of him.
Briggs has no intention of fighting & is just a stooge to drum up interest in the sport, I swear to it.

If the fight was made today as the OP suggest it would be interesting to see how many rounds Fury could manage given the state of his fitness .

If Briggs was keen on fighting he would have done so. He obviously knows hes a shot fighter so dare not fight to get beat. His best chance is just shouting out anyone who is worth dollars so at least if he gets a fight its worth the money and worth the loss.
If the fight was made today im not sure what kind of fight it would be.
Once Fury is fit and back to 100% he should turn over Briggs. I cant make an argument for Briggs purely because he knows what kinda shape hes in and wont fight anyone.
