Hi Boxingfans,

I thought this could be interesting,
remember when Charr fought Seferi and became the WBA International Champion?
Shortly after that victory some newspapers and websites reported that Charr is now the WBA Interim Champion, even himself (according to a report in a german newspaper he posted that he's the interim champion, which he later deleted). I also read that Gilberto Mendoza told Charr that he is the Interim Champion, but it never became official. Anyway, after a long reaserch without a satisfying answer, I got it now!

Today Nov. 15, 2017 I called Diamond Boy Promotions in Liechtenstein, Charrs promotion company to clear the confusion.
My 2 questions been!

Is Manuel Charr the WBA Interim Champion?
No he ist not the WBA Interim Champion, he is WBA International Champion,
I said cause there are some rumors, answer: Yes there a lot of rumors, people like to talk a lot.

Is the fight against Ustinov on November 25th really for the WBA Regular title?<br/>
That's not cleared yet, we are awaiting the official documents from the WBA, but it is more than likely!

Nobody cares about Charr, and no nobody remembers the fight where he won the WBA Intercontinental Cracker Jack Box title

I believe the Charr vs. Ustinov is an eliminator for the Regular title.

Who is the WBA regular champion. The last one was Marcus Browne before he got busted for drugs. Since then plenty of talk for the regular title but no action.

The interim WBA championship is vacant.

Manuel Charr captured the vacant WBA International Heavyweight Title, which I think he's vacated, because he's trying to capture the WBA's "regular" title when he faces Alexander Ustinov next weekend.

the sanctioning bodies seem really love with charr. i wonder why. charr is a shady guy whose been in knife fights after ppl challenged him for throwing raw eggs at random ppl, and hes gotten shot. 10/10 faceplant vs briedis though manny

I ran into him on the street once. I said a quick hello as I walked past. He's a big dude.

A friend of mine has had a fair bit to do with him in a business sense. Not a nice guy apparently. He's not the kind of bloke who you want to be taking your sister out on a Saturday night.
