Broadcast Team: Sky Sports vs. Box-Nation

We sometimes like them, sometimes hate them.. Some pundit's chat a load of shite.. some know their boxing.. Some wing it..
Who has the best team?
Sky Sports tend to have more variety.
Buffer as announcer, pundits and commentators: Adam Smith, Johnny Nelson, Carl Froch seem to be the main ones.
Bellew, Haye, Khan etc. tend to help out..
They also have a hot presenter, I forgot her name
Box-Nation also have a variety of boxers that help out that are under Warren
Presenters and commentary: Steve Bunce, Barry Jones, Jamie Moore, Amir Khan (occasionally), (mind's gone blank!! please help, I have forgotten the old guys name)

I like Bunce and Barry Jones but I kinda went off Bunce a little after all his bullshít about hunting folk down from BoxRec! Made himself look a bit of a helmet with that crap but it happens to the best of us I suppose

Sky could be really good but they always seem to get the balance wrong and always go with the company men who all push the same narrative down our throats!

Barry Jones has let me down a little. Especially the Williams vs. Smith fight.
I can't remember the name of the presenter, who presents live from there studio on fight nights. He's good.
Sky do get the mix wrong sometimes. I enjoy listening to Haye when he's on, Bellew talks sense.. It's the main cast of Nelson, Froch and Smith that tend to be a let down for me.

I didn't see that broadcast mate as I was watching the Taylor fight. Jones knows his stuff though. Haye is decent and Bellew is obviously very knowledgable but I think Bellew sways towards the company bullshít too much. Nelson is getting worse by the week man! He's a walking fuckin advertising board for Sky man! The difference between him on Sky and his IFL interviews is astonishing man!

Froch is hilariously bad "I think Chisora will win because I've not heard of the other guy"

You're right, Haye sometimes appears on Channel 5 and more freelance.. But you've hit the nail with Bellew, whilst he is knowledgeable, he's employed by Hearn and hypes Hearn's other boys too much. He get's too emotionally involved. Like climbing on the ring apron after AJ beat Wlad and kissing him or something.
Whenever I see Nelson on IFL, I NEVER watch! I only ever really watch boxers and Hearn on IFL.. NEVER Nelson.

For some strange reason that I'm fukked if I can even remember, I was a Nelson fan as a boy! He was as boring as fukk but I liked his stance and confidence and I liked the way he'd turned his career around etc.... He came from being a journeyman to one of the best in his division. As a pundit he is absolute dog shít though! Proper cheese man

WTF??

Was this for the Chisora vs. Kabayel??
That sounds like Michael Cole on BT Sports.. "(Team 1) won because at the end of the match they had more goals."

Credit where it's due.. He did turn it around in his boxing career. Set a record of defences.. Didn't engage in unifications though.. And let's add, the cruiserweight division was exactly booming at the time.
But yeh, as a pundit. He's really starting to get on my nerves.

Channel 5 the best out of that lot
Sky is full of yes men
allegedly seem to be going downhill lately with really biased commentary

allegedly by far the worst, all they need to do is employ Richie Woodhall and they've got the complete set of helmets

Can Jim Watt comeback please!
Barry Jones is by far the best pundit and co-commentator out there now with Watt's retirement.
David Haye is also very good and articulate, he knows how to sell a fight well.
Enzo Mac was also okay, but in Barry Jones' they've allegedly found a Gem. He is really infomative.
Barry McGuigan still makes things feel a bit special.
Prefer Paul Dempsey, but go one then - lets have Woolhouse for the eye candy value.
So dream team for me.
Woolhouse with Haye, Jones, McGuigan and Glenn McCory as the pundits - if stateside McCory.
Undercard fights - Commentators - Darke and Watt (and none of this "B" team for undercard fights).

Not really specific on commentary but I think sky do the best production in general. And the absolute worldie bird who anchors the show gives them the edge!
I always find macklin unbiased and has a knack of breaking things down simply and tactically.
I wouldn’t like to say who is the best commentary team there’s good and bad in all

I'd have McCrory over Froch, but I think Malignaggi and Bellew are really good. Unfortunately it's become job's for the boys, Paul Smith, Macklin, Froch...its shiite! Macklin's accent more than anything.
I like Barry Jones on allegedly, and I don't mind Woodhall. Bunce is arete.

Yeh, I forgot to mention Malignaggi.. He does talk too much and too fast.. Tries to get in there with as much info as possible.. and you can see Adam Smith waiting for Paulie to breathe so he can cut in lol.. But he's a better version of Bellew, also his analysis is always a good listen.

maybe ive watched too much porn, but seeing a fully clothed woman talk does nothing for me these days. certainly not a factor in preferring one team to the other. youre probably more innocent though

A good point about porn. I do like it when the formerly clothed girls get their phones hacked and the photos shown...
I saw one of Holly Willoughby once (not sure if it was fake)

Former WBC cruiserweight champion and current heavyweight contender Tony Bellew believes Parker, despite his record and world title, is in no way entitled to receive 40% of the money.
"Parker is dreaming if he thinks he can take 40 per cent of an Anthony Joshua fight at Wembley.
That's absolutely ridiculous," Bellew said to Metro.
"A fight with Joshua is probably five times more than Parker has ever earned. He's not entitled to that. The best fight on his record is Carlos Takam and that was a narrow victory. Joshua won every single round against Takam in Cardiff. Parker's team are dining out on this WBO title and they should be very, very careful what they wish for.
"There's several heavyweights out there that can beat Parker. I'm one of them. If I was Parker I wouldn't even think of going to Russia to fight Alexander Povetkin, he would lose that fight. And then he'll be kicking himself for turning down a record payday fight with Joshua."
--------
He's not even on Sky Sports and he's still on AJ's ****! Lol a boxer commenting on another boxers purse? What kind of shit is that? Haha
