Tony Bellew: If David Haye wants to pull out of our fight, I’ll face Joseph Parker

From Tony Bellew (His column on Metro)
He did a whole session on Monday working out with Sky Sports, so I think those ‘rumours’ are nonsense. It’s just a way of trying to get a response out of me. Trying to get me to say something stupid, that’s Haye’s game.
I can’t see why Haye would be lining up his excuses early, because he knows he is going to retire after this fight. He’s just playing some mind games, but he’s failed. I’ve got nothing to say on the matter – if he wants to pull out, then pull out.
I’ve got a lot of options on the table, so if he wants to pull out of the fight, I’ll face Joseph Parker, no problem.
I see I’m now No.6 in WBC’s heavyweight rankings, and that’s very flattering. But, ultimately it counts for nothing. I have to get in the ring on December 17 and win. And then I’m sure I’ll be even further up the rankings.
What is amazing is that Haye was ranked so highly with the WBA and I then beat him, but I can’t get into their rankings…
I’m training hard, I’ve just got over a cold. It happens in most of my camps, your immune system gets very low due to the amount of workload you’re putting on your body. It wouldn’t be a normal camp if I didn’t get sick!
I’m sparring three times a week now and I’m ready to shock the world, again.

Answering mind games with mind games
At least that's how it seems to me

I'd love to see how Tony is going weight-wise. Without the demands of making cruiser some guys blow out.
As for fighting Parker instead, I'd actually love to see that fight. They are both around the same size.

Parker weighs around 230-240 pounds..
Also I think Bellew will come in around 210 pounds.

parker is naturally a bigger of a frame. if they weighed the same amount bellew would look flabbier. but i think theyre about the same height and its not a world away in size.
i think bellew is pretty underrated and id give him a real chance vs parker. a much better technical boxer for me.
for me even guys like whyte and miller would beat parker. without a belt jp is an average contender at best. could've easily lost to hughie and ruiz. and its funny because some people rate those guys, but almost entirely on their showings vs jp, but perhaps jp just aint that great? i had him drawing takam too and thats really by far his best result imo.

I think Parker would beat Bellew. Probably stopping him late on.
If Bellew looks good vs haye and is better at the weight for a second fight I’ll revise that opinion

I think Parker would beat Bellew as well, in a close fight till the later rounds indeed.
I expect Bellew to look good in his next fight, not because he's that good, but because his opponent isn't that good.

He didn’t look good vs one leg haye, so I doubt he looks good next time

I make my observation on simmiler size based on height and reach, Parker isn't the biggest HW out there in the top 15. Seeing Haye and Bellew next to Parker is simmiler sizing. Who knows what Tony will weigh in at this time? I'd say more than 210. But that's just a guess.

Love how Tony just puts himself in to world heavyweight title fights as if it's nothing

He’s always doing it! I do like the guy and his achievements have to be applauded but I hop Haye brings him down a peg or two on Dec 17th!

But he did look good against two leg version so he probably just didn't want to beat him up too hard, to get another big payday.

No he didn’t look good. He looked better at cruiser. He went at one leg haye as hard as he could. Painful watching a one legged man against a guy who was over weight and couldn’t attack

I suggest you to watch it all over again, from round 1 till 5 or so, he managed to smash his opponent up several times and at the same time scare him up as hell. Meanwhile his opponent couldn't land anything on him at all and you may check that back, show me any moment in round one till 5 where his opponent looked any good at all. Even small parts of rounds, he had like no chance, in the end he got destroyed so hard, even his legs were destroyed, the guy had like no chance, despite Tony Bellew wasn't even in good shape at all.

Haye had problems with his Achilles before he set foot in the ring , his leg was destroyed before he even started fighting .

I can't believe this is another ppv. Well I can but it's cheeky. Almost as laughable as Bellew v Cleverly 2 being ppv.

In other words, you can't complete the task? Show any moment at all in the first 5 rounds where he looked any good? Even just short moment during the fight. Nah, it just doesn't exist.

You should talk to yourself mate, I ask you to select one moment in 5 rounds where he looked any good, that's all I'm asking, and you still fail to do the job, exactly like I predicted.

I'm with ya Ozzy, it was hard to watch alright. And while I was cringing watching it, in the back of my mind I knew Bellew would go on about his "win" add infinitum afterwards, which added to the cringe factor
