Upcoming Heavyweight schedule ...

Lovers of purely elite level top quality boxing best look away now ...

Ignoring fights scheduled against TBA and outrageous mismatches this is what's imminent, coming soon, or on the horizon:

Nov 18 Tomasz Adamek v Fred Kassi See separate thread

Guillermo Jones v Ytalo Perea Massive gulf in class. Jones should have enough left to see off Perea.

Nov 25 Alexandr Ustinov v Manuel Charr Ridiculous title fight but an interesting match up. I favour Ustinov as I really don't rate Charr.

Nov 27 Sergei Kuzmin v Amir Mansour A wonderful match up on paper. How can I pick against either of these guys. An acid test for Kuzmin.

Dec 1 Agron Smakici v Michael Sprott Michael doesn't win too many these days. This won't buck the trend.

Joey Dawejko v Kelvin Nunez Nunez is 15 and 0 but on closer inspection his record has more padding than my sofas Soon 15 and 1 methinks.

Mladen Miljas v Dillon Carmen Carmen doesn't impress me. Miljas could be the real deal. Should be entertaining.

Dec 8 Bogdan Dinu v Vladimir Tereshkin Now it was Teslenko rather than Tereshkin, then I'd be excited.

Dec 9 Bryant Jennings v Don Haynesworth DH is a decent journeyman but no match for Jennings. Poor show Bryant.

Sean Turner v Arnold Gjerjaj No test for the Hayemaker but "Big Sexy Sean" will have his hands full I reckon. Good match.

Daniel Dubois v Dorian Darch The Welshman will give Dubois an argument but it will be very one-sided.

Dec 10 Zhang Zhilei v Herve Hubeaux Hubeaux was who Kabayel beat for the Euro title. Decent test for Zhang.

Dec 15 Alexandr Povetkin v Christian Hammer See separate thread. Povetkin should win win at a canter.

Dec 16 Niall Kennedy v Danny Calhoun A bit of a step down for Kennedy after the war with Alex Santos.

Jean-Pierre Augustin v Carlos Sandoval Sandoval is one of those journeyman who has a losing record due to taking tough fights.

Dec 17 Joe Joyce v Tom Little About as likely to beat Joyce as would be Stuart Little.

Tony Bellew v David Haye Much more an interesting prospect this time around. I'll say Haye but not with any confidence.

Jan 26 Gary Cornish v David Howe The highlander is taking no chances in his search for someone he can lick.

Errors and omissions excepted.

Going through to page 20:
Adam Braidwood vs Misael Sanchez
George Arias Vs Curtis Harper
Dennis Lewandowski Vs Boris Estenfelder (though Boris's record is unimpressive)
Pezhman Seifkhani Vs Paolo Iannucci (Paolo is only a crusier and has a pretty padded record, but anything can happen with these sorts)
Zamig Atakishiyev Vs German Skobenko
Saul Farah Vs Vinnie Carita
Roberto Secola Vs Roberto Secola
Roberto Secola Vs Gasan Gimbatov
Pavel Sour Vs Vaclav Pejsar
Ricardo Humberto Ramirez Vs Franz Rill
Ivan Di Berardino Vs Gianmarco Cardillo (low level but legit)
Joe Hanks Vs Joel Caudle
Bradley Hamil Vs Eduardo Vitela

Great rundown, thanks chaps :TU:
Is the Dave Allen Vs Lenroy Thomas fight still happening this year?
I know there was a late cancellation and I thought there was a reschedule?
I was looking forward to that one...
:maybe:

It doesn't look like it Kiwi there's nothing on the schedules although I watched an interview with Lenroy Thomas and he was brushing off any questions about future opponents until the rematch was out of the way. He was talking like it was all set to go.

Cheers BP I'm not sure how I missed the George Arias v Curtis Harper fight, that's a very decent test for the youngster. Ramirez v Rill could be interesting too.

Don't forget Gasan Gimbatov vs Roberto Secola, many people don't know who either of them is, but both of them are potentional top 20 boxers.
