The question is not

will people hype/consider the winner of loma/rigo on leanord/mayweather level, the question is, will the winner get respect!?
Boxing fans are strange, a lot make no sense. A lot would say they love techniquly boxing, they love watching floyd, even if its boring. But when lara and rigo fights the same way patient defensive techniquly than it is boring.
Loma gets 0 credit, bevause i say it like it is, be ause he white and non usa. If they guy was black and usa than people would go crazy and say he is the next pernell whitacker.
But its okay, i understand that boxing fans, people in general make notmuch sense.
All i have to say is in 3 weeks you will why these 2 are the best in boxing and other top p4p boxer like ggg, canelo or crawford look slow & limited compared to them. Watch closly and witness greatness and tell me afterwards what u saw.

Boxing fans don't care where a fighter is from or what colour the guy is, its irrelevant to people that enjoy the sport, fact.

Loma is an incredible boxer. But he is the most over rated fighter I have ever seen.
People are already calling him an all time great.
Damn the dude is good but come on let's not get ahead of our selves. Let him prove it over rime

You're visually impaired if you feel that Rigondeaux and Lara fight in precisely the same manner as Mayweather Jr.

He is having trouble proving it because the so called best fighters won't fight him at lighter weights he can easily make

Salido is the only top guy that turned him down.

Loma gets a ton of credit. He's being promoted very heavily on American Television, and he's P4P #1 in a lot of people's opinions. I don't know what more you'd want for the guy.
As for being a PPV star. That's a whole other intangible factor that some guys either have or don't. Being P4P #1 doesn't always translate to being a Box Office Draw.

Loma’s The most publicized 9-1 boxer in the history of Boxing and The way people disregard how many times Rigo gets knocked on his ass is almost as epic. Overrated is all theses two are and I’m just glad one will be taken out of the p4p pathetic rankings when it’s all said and done. Good riddance.

Rigo is one of the best boxers out there actually. I think this fight is much more interesting as any Mayweather fight ever.

How the Hell is he not an ATG??? ... He won the Lineal Featherweight Championship when he had 2 FIGHTS AND 16 ROUNDS of experience.
He became a 2-Division World Champion faster than anyone in Boxing History... He wants to fight Mikey Garcia and Garcia moves up to fight Broner... He was lucky to get the Gary Russell Fight.. He was lucky to get the Nicholas Walters fight.. Those were undefeated World Championship Caliber Fighters who nobody else will probably ever beat.. Rigondeaux is another undefeated World Championship Caliber fighter.. And Mikey would be another one.. I haven't seen this kind of performance from anyone in the HISTORY of Boxing.

This is the most important fight of the year. I'm struggling to think of a fight that meant more in recent years. Two super talented boxers. Neither man showing signs of aging. Both men technically brilliant.

I am realy curious what will happen. How it plays out.
But to me 1 thing for sure. They will show why i consider them amongs the 10 best boxer ever. Not in terms of career achievemants but in terms of skills and physical atributes or to put it short talent.

People confuse resumes with actual skills. Mayweather and Leonard were better punchers than Loma, but what else could they do better than him ?

Mayweather has shown better defensive skills than I've seen from Loma as of this moment.

Imagine the Mayweather that took Corrales apart, vs the current Lomanchenko.

Its close. Prime lomachenko and prime mayweather are both top 10 atg. They on the same elite league.
Footwork lomachenko
Power equal
Chin mayweather
Agility equal
Speed equal
Reflexes equal/ maybe slightly floyd
Punch variation lomachenko
Stamina equal
Timing mayweather
Technique equal
I mean these 2 are prety much equal. Both ultra athletic, fast and blessed with cat like reflexes.

Loma is the nest boxer I've ever seen. I know that may sound a bit presumptuous to some, but, I'm just being honest. Seeing how he has beaten some of the other top guys within 10 fights of being a pro none the less. Amazing. He is a pleasure to watch. Not my favorite fighter, but the best.

Yeah. Also people love to downplay the fact that he had a am record of something 300 wins 1 loss.
So the guy travelled the world beat everybody win 2 olympic gold medals and guys in here act like its no big deal.but are quick figuring out when pernell or cassuis got gold medals and how important a good amateur background is.
