Two time Olympic gold medallist Mario Kindelan has decided to call it a day, citing the fact he will be 36 at the next Olympics feeling he will be too old to defend his position as No. 1 at Lightweight. "I want to spend more time with my family and take a rest" said Kindelan who has decided to help coach the future young talent on the rise in Cuba.
Happy retirement to an amateur Olympic great is what i say

Too old to compete at the next olympics, and yet cannot turn pro due to his country's restrictions. Yet, watching the guy win the gold medal, he looks to have plenty left in the tank.
Age restrictions should be based on personal circumstances, and not as a general rule.
