To me it's between Bute and Taylor.

I'd go with Bute as he was the underdog coming into that fight, and he didn't just beat Bute he steamrolled him and kicked his ass thoroughly.

The Taylor was one of his first big marquee wins, and he had to come from behind and score a KO at the last moment to win, so it's very memorable and certainly one of his legacy defining fights, but I'd have to say Bute was his single best victory.

To me probably Taylor, that was vintage Froch. How many other fighters could pull off a win like that - hardly any. He‘d lost the fight basically, the clock was just ticking down. Then... boom

You almost never see dramatic last moment, come from behind KO wins like that. That's why stuff like that is always so special when it happens because it's rare as hell. Very few fights with those types of endings even come to mind.

Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor is one.

James Toney vs Michael Nunn is one (Toney got Nunn in the 11th, but he'd lost the first 7 so I'd say it counts)

But it's definitely something you almost never seen.

Mike Weaver vs John Tate had a dramatic last minute KO as I recall though I've never seen the fight.

The dismatling of Bute was a special night.

Groves 2 was a huge event, the Taylor win was a great finish and Kessler was a great result but the way he destroyed Bute was outstanding

I personally thought he beat Kessler in both fights. 2nd fight was very decisive. First one was no robbery or anything, but I had it for Froch.

Best win I would say was Lucian Bute. Bute 30-0 with 24 KOs.. 80% KO ratio. But Froch absolutely annihilated him.

Hearn did get overly excited when the referee jumped in, but he was going to start a standing 8 count. Froch is lucky he didn't get DQ'd for Hearn jumping in the ring like that when the fight wasn't over. But luckily, Bute's corner had seen enough.

Defining.. I would say, Jermain Taylor. That's the fight he showed what he truly was.

Going with Groves II at Wembley Stadium (in front of 80,000)

Andre Ward! It was #1 vs. #2.. Ward was on top of the world at the time. Was never going to be beaten.

Froch has a lot of good fights with good victories. I'd say, his best win (and thus the best KO win) is against Taylor. It was an entertaining and competitive fight, Froch showed all his guts and toughness there.

And his best opponent was Andre Ward.

Groves II was his best... He hated Groves and trained his ass off... He controlled the ring and carried the fight to Groves, driving him around the ring with terrific combinations to the body and head until he got the KO shot he wanted -- which he threw with great accuracy and power.

Kessler was still at his best at the time they first fought, but I agree, Ward was at the top. There was no stopping him.

In some aspects yes. In may not define him as a boxer, but it's defining for him as a tough competitor, who can bring it on until the end.

Bute in real time.

How I miss Kalan.......but let's hope that straight-jacket is nice and tight
