More than his last fight which one would presume would be a career high payday. Huge duck. Apparently they accepted a fight against an undersized and old Gonzalez however when that was pulled and a unification was offered it then became not enough money. Yafai is brutal to watch, never seen him in an exciting fight. Huge shame he ducked Inoue

Eddie looking after his fighters, thats his job. If you have to sell the belt then get the best price for it, people been slating Higgins and J.Parker for doing the same thing. I think EH has said he wants to make the Tete fight but wants Burnett to make some pension funds first, can't blame him as its a short and brutal career

Inoue is a 2 division world champion, on the cusp of most p4p lists and looks to have a future on HBO with the likes of Sor Rungvisai, Estrada, Gonzalez, Cuadras etc. Yafai isn't even a big name in the UK, nevermind the US. But he would catapult himself with a win over Inoue. To use Hearn's own logic against him - "Listen, what you've got to understand is this Koogs, if they really believe they win the fight, take the offer we've given you and make yourself a superstar. In a rematch, you'd make 5 times the money!"

Yep, I mentioned this the other day - in the Five Live podcast he was slating Selby for going to the USA with Haymon for big purses but not big fights then later defending not putting Burnett in with Tete until he had made some decent money

This would've been by far the highest payday of Yafais career to date so Hearns bullshit about money is just embarrassing man! Just like the potential Burnett v Tete fight, Hearn has bottled it because he knows his man will get beaten. He wants to keep them in his little goldfish bowl and make as much money as he can off them before cashing out! Fukk the fans eh!!!

To be fair to the fighters, I think both guys would go for the fights that were mentioned! It's the arsehole promoter who's the spanner in the works!

Spot on, he's a walking contradiction.

Eddie's job is to be the villain in this situation....but by god, it's fukkin shite seeing top British fighters bottling these fights.

This is a lot worse than the Tete Burnett situation.

After Yafais last fight all sky talked about was fighting in America next, Eddie consistently saying "Number 1 in the world" aswell. This is a big fight its on HBO and Inoue is 8 in ring magazines p4p list.

Inoue fights on NYE so there is still time to sort this. But Hearn has flat out turned it down. Why not go back in with an offer for the fight himself or negiotiate as there is still time to do it.

But we know Hearn likes his PPVs with 3 world title fights so he needs to keep Yafai protected if he wants to carry on that.

If that's what he wants fine, just don't say Yafai is number 1 in the world and don't say he will fight the best because you have proven he isn't doing either.

He continues to claim Yafai is the best super flyweight in the world and has the Brit fans believing this.

Unless he has something with Chocolatito lined up
