TAKALOO cannot wait for the final bell in his WBU light- middleweight title clash against Wayne Alexander tonight — so he can ring his girlfriend’s bell.
The Margate mauler had a nine-week bonk ban imposed by trainer Jim McDonnell and plans a manic dash from East London’s York Hall back to the coast to catch up on lost nookie.
Tak, 28, revealed: “Jim always talks about making sacrifices and is convinced that if I have sex when I’m training it will weaken my legs.
“Does it? I don’t know because I always carry out Jim’s instructions to the letter and my partner Sarah has thrown me into the spare room.
“Jim rings the house at odd hours and quizzes me on where I’ve been sleeping. He needn’t worry.
“I’ve tried climbing into Sarah’s bed a few times but she throws me back in the spare room, saying Jim wouldn’t like it.
“Right now I’m having trouble walking up the stairs but Wayne will have trouble getting off the canvas after our fight.
“It’s going to be an early night for him because I’m so angry.
“I’ve prepared for someone to cut my bandages off straight after my bout so I can get home as quick as I can — let’s just hope I don’t get caught for speeding!”
Alexander, the one-time golden boy of the British fight game, is convinced he has the tools to take out his former sparring partner Takaloo.
He has switched trainers from Jimmy Tibbs to John Breen in the hope of getting his career back on track.
The Croydon hard-hitter said: “There was no problem with Jim. I had just reached a stage where I wasn’t moving forward so the time had come for a change.
I’ve been boxing since I was 11 and it’s remained my dream to win a major world title. Beating Takaloo will be another step on the way to fulfilling it.”
