He certainly was. I heard he was asked if he would be interested in a rematch right after the fight with Dokes ended (Dokes had spent the whole fight battering him with no noticeable effect) and Cobb replied "I don't think Michael's hands could take the abuse"

Well it's a good gag so why not recycle it, eh?

I must say in all seriousness I often wonder what the fighters are saying to each other and sometimes - usually after one fighter has been totally and embarrassingly destroyed - what I'd say to the guy if it were me who'd just crushed his dreams.
