British prospects all looked good tonight...

Mitchell looks to have evil intent with some ileagal punches that would have got him disqualified at a higher level but he looked powerful against the green Hungarian.

Doherty again looked solid but against another green opponent.

Conception had a tougher test but through some lovely sharp combinations and impressed me the most tonight.

Marsh looked like he snorted about a kilo of speed before the fight... :o but calmed down a bit to finish off a scrappy debut. Impressed by the work rate nevertherless.

Don't really know what happened with that Czech heavyweight didn't see much contact from Sprott to put him down... :-?

Fair play to Alexander though...probabaly one of the best lefts he's ever thrown to be fair.

All in all, good night's boxing.

Not many put Dunn down, and he definately didn't look like getting up. The corner were telling Doherty to slow down, but he wanted to get it finished!

Agree with you review though mate!

Doherty impressed my the most, Allen didn't answer my reservations I have about him (mainly stamina) but he looks the good.

Conception, has terrific natural strength and power, he was not landed all that cleanly but was still hurt and putting the game opponent on his arse with regularity.

I think he is a cocky/arrogant lad though and I could see him doing a "Hamed" and relying too much on the punch.

I think there must be some early question marks about Marsh's power, I think it was more the workrate of Marsh as opposed to the power that was getting to James (who will get a win soon enough, good journeyman). Too early to say how far Marsh will go, I predict a lonsdale belt, but not much further.

Martin Conception needs a nickname. How about Immaculate?

 Sorry. Never heard of him until yesterday and I looked him up on boxrec database. No nickname listed so I just assumed. Apologies for my non-too lightning fast sense of humour.
