I wonder if the fight against GGG took a lot from Daniel Jacobs ?

When the fight ended Jacobs was falling on his knees due to exhaust. Also in his fight against Arias, he didn't look spectacular. Most people expected Jacobs to stop Arias at some point of the fight.

He looked good against Arias but he couldn't stop him or even drop him.

It wasn't the kind of fight that would've "taken a lot" out of a fighter. I've seen guys bounce back from far more brutal defeats than that.

Jacobs suffered 1 knockdown that wasn't a crushing knockdown... He was was a little bunged up, but not hurt bad... Joshua actually had a worse looking face after his Klitschko fight, and I don't think he got hurt at all...
I just think it's going to be difficult for him to get top Middleweights in to the ring with him... He needs to be more active, but he was dominant with Arias.

People are pretending that Golovkin "ruined" Jacobs in order to embellish GGG's legacy, whilst conveniently forgetting how truly competitive their bout was, coupled with the fact that a relatively large minority considered the American the deserving victor of their bout.

Jacobs just survived against GGG for 12 rds. It isn't like Jacobs battered GGG for 12 rds and the judges robbed him.

I'm sure he was glad it was over, and that he had become the first man in a long time not to have been knocked out by GGG, but he didn't take the kinda beating that he'd be unable to recover from there or nothing.

You clearly watched a different fight to me. The GGG-Jacobs fight was very competitive and the decision was almost certainly very close.

Yeah , Jacobs needs to be more active but I didn't see from him that power that hurts people against Arias.

Nope. Jacobs was happy he went 12 rds against GGG and he expected that judges would give him the win just because of that.
