Yafai, now 13-0, stopped Liverpool’s Ricky Starkey after one minute and 59 seconds of the third round, exclusively live on Sky Sports’ Facebook page.
The former Commonwealth super-bantamweight champion is expected to return in January after a win at York Hall.
And his promoter Eddie Hearn has talked about a fight between Yafai and former super-bantamweight WBC world title challenger Gavin McDonnell.
Yafai wants more rounds but the team –– and Hearn in particular –– wants to make a fight between him and McDonnell soon, stating that it could happen on the undercard of Kell Brook’s return on March 3 at the FlyDSA Arena in Sheffield, exclusively live on Sky Sports, against Sergey Rabchenko.
Meanwhile, Felix Cash moved to 7-0 with a first-round victory over Greg O’Neill, with the fight being ended after just 54 seconds.

Got to hand it to Eddie Hearn. It's not easy to be less likeable than his old man, but he somehow manages it.

In my opinion, the towel should stop the fight, no matter what the referee thinks.

I agree - people say corner should make decision for the fighters welfare all the time - so when they want to pull their man out that’s what should happen.

Speaking afterwards, Okolie directed a verbal attack at Chamberlain and his trainer Ted Bami, urging the Brixton man to accept a fight.
"I need to watch it back. I was happy with it," Okolie told Sky Sports.
"He and Ted Bami are two cowards!
"He's calling me his easiest fight, he's saying stuff online. Here's the fight in February, let's go."

Joe Cordina stops Lee Connelly in four rounds
Cordina caused a nasty cut over Connelly's right eye in the third and although the Derbyshire man's trainer seemed keen on halting proceedings at the end of the round, it was Ian John Lewis who stepped in at the end of a non-stop assault from the Welsh Wizard in the fourth.
The Cardiff star's speed and precision shone through from the opening round as his right caused his foe early problems. It soon saw Connelly trapped on the ropes with a left-right-left too quick for him to cope with.
Cordina admitted that after six straight wins, he is ready for some tougher tests in 2018.
"I'm not discrediting him in any shape or form, but he wasn't going to test me in any aspect," he told Sky Sports.
"I had the jab, the speed, the power over him. I'm learning every fight."

Ball Shinkwin didn't really come to life. Slightly disappointing as I thought that fight had the potential to be the best of the night.

Jake Ball completed a unanimous points victory over Miles Shinkwin as he continued his rise up the light-heavyweight rankings.
In a tentative opening round, Shinkwin took the centre of the ring and sent out range-finding right hands as Ball adopted a watchful approach on the back foot.
Ball backed to the ropes in the second round, trying to lure Shinkwin onto crisp counters, and 'The Blade' stabbed jabs through his opponent's defences in the third.
The cleaner, eye-catching work was coming from Ball, who switched neatly from head to body in the fourth, and he unloaded flurries before slipping away from the flat-footed Shinkwin in the fifth.
With the fight slipping away, Shinkwin landed a crisp right hand as he showed more urgency in the sixth, but there were only brief moments of concern for Ball as he picked holes in the Hertfordshire fighter's guard over the next couple of rounds.
Ball maintained his steely focus in the ninth round, despite the likelihood of a handy lead on the scorecards, and he highlighted his dominance with more crunching counters in the final few minutes.
