At the Straubinger Exhibition and Event GmbH in Lower Bavaria, Germany, well known super middleweight Avni Yildirim (16-1) won by knockout over Attila Korda (13-7) after a one-sided fight.

Turkish fighter, Yildirim, started ambitious and willing and used his jabs effectively. He controlled the bout from the first minute until the first round KO. Yildirim was fresh and strong during the bout. Mr Robot seems enthusiastic for his return to the top level again.

Yildirim’s famous manager Ahmet Öner claimed that “this fight is just a little step to go further. "

The 26 year old boxer still holds the WBC International belt and wants to gain a crack at the full belt by next year.

Yildirim’s next opponent will be experienced “Black Lion” Derek Edwards (27-7-1) on March 3rd in Germany.

Edwards’ sensational knockout of Badou Jack was a major upset when it went down, but since then he's been unable to gain wins over Lolenga Mock, Erik Skoglund, Gilberto Ramirez and Andre Dirrell.

I wouldn't mind seeing him fight against Korobov, not sure if Korobov has retired, though. I don't think he's fought this year.

Yeah you're right. He hasn't fought this year. I don't know if he'd fight Yildirim or not, but I like your thinking on the matchup.
