Lemieux and Sneldin looked terrible this weekend. Based on HBO’s prior promotions, there seemed to be a business case to these two putting up a W. Ultimately, poor matchmaking, but also a bad ring?

Who determined the ring size? It looked like it was at least 22’ x 22’ (that’s huge) maybe bigger... don’t their handlers consider that success for these two specific fighters would be more easily generated in an 18’ ring?

In a smaller ring, Lemieux would have caught Saunders?

They have to agree, but doesn’t the ‘home’ promoter get the majority of the say in it?

After watching the fight, no. Saunders gave Lemieux a boxing lesson. Nonetheless, pre-fight, I would have expected Lemieux's (and Sneldon's) camp to advocate for a small ring.

Crooked Las Vegas not only provided in house refs and judges for Mayweather but they also built custom sized rings for him! I remember them making him an extra big one when he fought Hatton so he could run away easier, but no fear, house ref Joe Cortez was there to instantly break them up whenever Hatton got close.

No, not legit. Hatton, like Kovalev, was in the ring with the two of them, the house boxer, Mayweather, and the house ref, Cortez. Cortez wouldnt let them fight on the inside. Typical Las Vegas baloney. They didn't even bother to be subtle about it. There's a photo of Mayweather and Cortez smiling and hugging each other after the fight. They don't give a s. Right in your face. I was disappointed in all those drunken English boxing fans for not burning the place down.
