The Highway of Tears I think its called. The papers just gloss over it all, as there was a murder/kidnap epidemic going on they just wanted the trophy perp convicted.
The whole case smacks of high up connections. I was in Vancouver at the time of his trial so it caught my attention, also due to some late night walks in the crazy area of Hastings and Main in Vancouver. Anyway, it’s the brother Dave who has the connections, Willie was like his retard brother...they had police and high ranking hells angels partying at the farm. I can’t inagine the very backwards Willie having the clout or sense to set it all up. The appeal chaired by Wally Opal was a disgrace and so was the behaviour of VPD. It’s a huge case with long tentacles. The victims families certainly felt short changed by the police and justice system.
Read up on the appeal case and the victims thoughts also the jury. They only convicted him with 6 murders as the jury felt he acted with others, possibly directed.

I'd like to think somebody have given him the beating he richly deserved for so long, and he's talking through jaws wired shut right now.

I tell you what, the whole Charlie Zelenoff phenomenon would make a great thesis for a psychology PhD. It's sickening how a guy with mental illness was beaten and laughed at. The world makes me puke sometimes.
