He will choose his own trainer, whoever comes up with the best deal will promote and I think his ticket selling will have massively improved during the lay off.

I was thinking Domonic Ingle too.

As for fights.

Rather than going for an unknown on his return which it could well be.

David Price

Then retire Derek Chisora

Then Alexandra Povetkin

Then the biggy. AJ

Im sure Fury would dispatch Price pretty easy enough but would force Fury to get into decent fighting shape.

Chisora would take him a few rounds but again Fury would need to be taking things seriously. Not 2 perticually hard fights buts gives Fury some ring time to shake off the cobwebs. Both Price and Chisora arent quite over yet and a fight with Fury might wake them up with the thought of a win.

Once those are out of the way i think its time for the step up. Get Povetkin beat and that should be a taster for the big fight.

As for tickets sales i'd attach him as co-main to Flanagan, Frampton and Billy Joe for those 3 fights and just price the shows reasonably...

Why are people so adamant the guy is going to fight? He is so volatile due to his mental health and his ability to dabble in the drugs.

I do like the guy but I dont believe he will be back until I see him ring walk, and I would love to see him back I just don't think he will

I pretty much think this as well. Also even if he does fight, I can’t see him being disciplined enough to train through three intense training camp warm up fights to get to AJ.

he should have a couple of fun world title fights like Mike Spinks and then go for whoever has any unified baubles.

the financial pressure should be on the other contenders to unify their baubles first

seriously how can anyone say chisora 3. already beat him handily twice, with last fight being total humiliation and one of the most boring ive seen. would be about the least interesting fight to be made.

id say he should come back vs someone like sexton, then charr, then top 10. i do admit while price is levels below there is still something about price-fury that interests me a bit.

dom ingle seems like a good trainer style wise but dont know theyd blend personality wise or if being in camp with a mate would be ideal. maybe too easy to goof around in the gym or go out for booze and food after a training session.

I agree with the Ingle & Hearn choices for trainer & promoter. There's plenty of room in Barry's attic for both Billy & Luke.

As for first three fights I'd go with Price in April, Takam in September then try to get down to Welter to fight Khan. If that doesn't work out fight Joshua at a football stadium. Preferably Scunthorpe or Yeovil.

I'd choose Dominic Ingle... He's a big guy on conditioning, nutrition, and work ethic....as well as getting rid of distractions... If Fury's technical skills were lacking, or his jab, footwork, or inside game needed help I'd choose Joe Gallagher... But Fury is a natural born boxer.. He's got tremendous instincts and skills.. Then I'd turn it up the comp for a year with 3 or 4 more serious fights, and then go for Parker, Wilder, Joshua, or whoever is there... I'd have him fight once a month to build up public confidence that he's really back, serious, and extremely conscientious about discipline and showing up on fight night... He's burnt a lot of bridges that need reconstructing... and that will only come with rebuilding his conditioning and health and public confidence that he can regain the Title... Listen to his voice - he sounds like a man who's 60 years old.

For rebuilding his public image I'd go with Motivational expert Anthony Robbins... It's the kind of project Robbins likes because Fury is so washed out and hopeless it's utterly ridiculous... Fury might not like it, refuse it, and be cynical... You have to tell him... "Give Robbins a shot... He's turned lazy assed jail birds into productive people... He's rescued hard core drug addicts... He's turned fat boys into slimsters... He's an expert on discovering and unearthing things that drive and motivate varied individuals and turns their lives around on a dime... Are you going accept help or are you going to have a negative and cynical attitude about everything and keep digging your heels in??? ... So far that's cost you a Lineal World Heavyweight Title and maybe 100 million dollars... Robbins is flying in on Tuesday and we've already paid him a substantial sum because he's a freakin' genius...

I would think it will be tough to motivate himself to come back to fight anyone unless it's for a big payday and title straight away,he was never a big ticket seller before and so much has happened to turn away what casual fans he did have.We'll have to see if he actually does get fit enough to return in the first place i think.

Doesn't mean they will buy tickets to a fight though,maybe last minute once they know the fight is very likely to happen.

Says a lot that all Fury had to do to shift tickets was not fight...

He'll be back to square one soon enough. If his comeback sells, and I think against someone like Price it could do ok, it'll drop off when it bcomes apparent that he's still the same boxer as before, (providing the lay off hasn't turned him into the heavyweight Gatti.) I imagine he'll look to spoil, make things awkward, and drag fights out. Unfortunately as effective as that is it very rarely equals great sales.

Fine him when he pulls out of/cancels fights.

This way he could actually be counted on to deliver on the fights he's scheduled for.

I figure his next 3 opponents are gonna need to be soft guys outside of the Top 20 because that's probably all he can handle right now.

furys styles very boring granted its effectve. wlad chsora 2 and hammer were all awful. stoppages and more aggression would help probably. now hes wlad esque but without nearly the same power.

he used to be much funner to watch but now is one of the worst despite being plenty lively outside the ring and with his comments. hugh vs joe p really showed the current fury negative boxing mentality. tysons just able to do it better than hughie.

I'm struggling to understand people's logic here. Tyson boxed 'exciting' against Cunningham and nearly come unstuck. He's 6'9 and can box. Obviously his team have told him to get on the back foot. We don't need no dead heroes.
