How many KOs can you name that you would call a 10/10 KO.

In the fact he set it up perfectly, landed perfectly, the outcome was perfect, timing and everything!Which KOs can you name like that or close and if so what would you give them!

now i know it wasnt strictly a clean KO but i suppose these days it would be classed as a TKO, but the right uppercut Tuyson finished Bruno off with in their first fight is probably the most perfect punch inve ever seen thrown. a right to the body dropped Brunos guard down and tyso delivered the perfect uppercut right up the slot, the ref then stepped in to stop it

the best perfect KO i would think was Tommy Hearns right hand shot against Roberto Duran in their 1984 fight. Sparking Duran in the 2nd, he had him against the ropes, stepped back to look for an opening, Roberto still beckoning him to come forward and then bang, all over. Duran never knew if it was new york or new year.

Julian Jackson vs Herol Graham definitely is the best i've seen. Graham skooled Jackson up to that point, but was knocked out cold by a huge left.

it cant be your best when you get what direction of the punch he landed WRONG

Arguello on Rooney was one of the most perfect right hands ive ever seen. Hearns on James Shuler was a great shot as was his on Duran. Julian Jackson on Herol Graham and Buster Drayton was a great display of power. Macarinelli's left hook on Bruce Scott was a work of art. Ray Leonard on Davey Green was great. Bob Foster on Tiger and Quarry. Zamora on Pedroza.

you know i had to think before i said it. I have only seen the KO a couple of times, and not for a while. But it's the effect it had on Graham that stays in my mind so much. Just fell straight back, smacking his head on the canvas, and was a sleep.

Alexander vs Tak is certainly up there amongst the greatest KO's I have seen. Although there have been some other great ones, McCallum KO'ing Curry, Hearns vs Duran, and both Lewis vs Rahman fights are the four great one punch KO's that I can remember off the top of my head. Oh, and Jackson vs Graham.

One of the best single shots I have seen was the one in which Leonard nailed Hearns in the 5th round of their rematch. Amazingly, Hearns didn't go down to that shot (ropes kept him up), but the timing and accuracy of that shot was awesome.The way he moved into punching range and found the target as soon as Hearns made the error. How Hearns stayed up was amazing, but he was f'd for a number of rounds after and thats why the fight was close on the cards.

Leonard-Davey Boy Green, Roy Jones-Pazienza and Naz-Sanchez are another 3 that spring to mind. All great combinations!

Yeh, Naz had some good ones in his time, both combo's and one punch KO's. Remember his KO over that Italian guy the week after Benn vs McCllelan. That was viscious.

I can't remember for definite who the opponent was, but aside from the ones already mentioned, the best KO i've seen was when Silky Jones got clocked by Dodson(?). One massive shot, and Silky could have had 10 minutes and he'd have still failed to beat the count.

Chilling power.

Arturo Gatti vs Tito Tovar. No greater KO punch has ever been thrown IMO.

Jackson Vs Graham ( even though Bomber was one of my faves of all time)
Leonard Vs Green
Floyd Patterson Vs Johanson(sp?) - I watched this again recently and the sight of his foot twitching on the canvas is chilling

I also recall one by John Conteh ( can't recall the opponent ) who just crumpled in his own footprint like a demolished building

Oh, and who can't add Marciano's "suzie Q" to the list?

Good call. Duran is one of my all time favourites and that KO annoys me every time I see it. Brilliant shot.

Also, got to agree with Gomez about Patrick Barrett, the Efrem Calamati one especially.

didn't Hearns get sparked by Barkley later on in his career or am I imagineering it?

I seem to recall it being a Benn/Logan style KO born out of a certain element of desperation

Watched that fight Live, think it was on ITV, but Hearns was beating the poo-poo out of Barkley, whose face looked like chopped liver and was heading for an almost certain stoppage. Barkley rolls under a hearns right, comes up with a left hook of his own, and Hearns careers to the canvas.

Barkley's KO of Hearns was brutal, Hearns legs were doing a dance...i never saw it but i heard that James Toney's KO of Jason Robinson back down at Cruiserweight was a stunner.
