How about a Povetkin, Ortiz, Briggs, and Browne round robin for the WDA (World Drug Association) belt?

Seeing as this guy is not and never was Povetkin's trainer and hasn't lived or worked in Russia in decades how much more does his opinion count than anyone elses?

That would be clear discrimination of Wilder and Joshua who must be included.

I've never heard about Wilder or Joshua failing a drug test.

Both have been busted with drugs somehow, Wilder even quite recently and he even refused to sign any boxing contract when his lab was suspended.

well they could easily just say that fidor lapin isnt pedvetkins trainer.he trains polish fighters and has lived there for years. hes right though and its obvious. also povs almost 40 so prob slowing also regardless of peds.
although that said even now hes prob good enough to beat pretty much everyone outside the top 3 or so.i d take him right away vs joe 'majority decision' parker for example.

Povetkin is getting older he is 38 years old and this is the pre-retirement age for the boxer. And Povetkin has sharp blows, serial work of hands but he isn't a real puncher, and probably without PED, his blows became "less painful"

The usual "pedvetkin" troll thread that clutters this place up. As far as I know Povetkin has won every single round since his run in with las vegas mafia's Doc Margaret Goodman and their ever so protected Wilder. Of course they'd much rather cast aspersions upon him than allow one of their precious cash cows, like Wilder or Joshua, to actually fight him. Just more bullshit from the "pedvetkin" kindergarten crowd.

..not being Povetkin's fan, I believe that calling him "PEDvedkin" might be fun when you do it once or hear it for the first time, the constant repetitions make it sound juvenile or senile as the case may be and doesn't lay the basis for a healthy debate..

it's not his trainer, is a Russian trainer that lives in Poland a lot of time and is a trainer of the likes of Włodarczyk, Głowacki, also been a trainer of Szpilka until his fight vs Adamek

If Povetkin is so innocent, why did he agree to pay a $250,000 fine for testing positive for PEDS? Sounds like an admission of guilt to me.

Have they flunked PED tests? You can't just go by the way things look even though I kind of did that in guessing Graziano and possibly Madison have substance issues.

Busted for recreational drugs? That's very different than flunking a PED test.

Feller on Fightnews made a good post about this:
Vykus Thunderaxe ·
Valhalla, Victoria, Australia
Povetkin was an olympic gold medalist and amatuer world champion gold medalist in his 20's, theres a difference between slob and fighting fat, and there is a difference between muscle and steriods. Briggs going from 240 to 275 in solid muscles = steriods. Povetkin has fought at 215-230 his whole career. Hed have to be the dumbest steriod user in the world to use it without having an ounce of gains lol. Suliman has been desperate to keep WBC belt in US, thus when ever a threat to Beyonce comes along, they get spiked. Happens in boxing all the time. Ask Lucas Browne why he was cleared by VADA before entering Chechnya 5 days before fight, yet goes positive after fight. Think he decided to get on riods in a foreign warlord country couple days before fight when training had finished? Lol Ask Fury why he takes crates of his own food and water whenever he fights overseas. Only time in 20 years of boxing Povetkin is acused of doping, is when hes going to fight Wilder, or an eliminator to fight Wilder, yet hes never stopped from boxing, go figure.
The purpose of PED's is to put on muscular weight. Povetkin weighed EXACTLY the same in his last fight as he did in his first, and his body looks the same too.
Now let us look at Anthony DRUGSHUA and the way he so rapidly put on 20-30 pounds of muscular weight - enough to give the most doped up bodybuilder envy!
And Deontay WILDROID? WILDROID with his roided up upper bod and roid rage behavior...
"Heavyweight boxing champion Deontay Wilder arrested on drugs charge"

By the way, what happened to him? Nothing? Doc Goodman isn't interested, huh?

Deontay came home out of town and was stopped on a traffic violation in a car he hadn't used in a while. The officer found a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle that did not belong to him. He took an arrest to protect a family member. He is tested year round.

Of course. It never does. And what happened to him? Was he suspended? Was he fined? Did he become the special focus of Doc Goodman in Las Vegas? And what would happen to you or me if we were driving erratically and found with an illegal (it shouldn't be but it is) substance in our car?
And then we can look at Wildroid's body and behavior and compare that with Povetkin's, the latter being perfectly normal, since the trolls want to pursue this subject endlessly, along with their mob heroes in L.V.

Deontay doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would like pot. Frankly he doesn't seem cerebral enough. LOL.
This is a non story.

Possession and usage are two different things. The amount he was found with was so small would have been legal in many other states.

A ticket it's a misdemeanor

FFS, this isn't about Wilder. Don't get your panties in a bundle.
