Who is the oldest guy to have fought a professional bout in the last 6 months?

Any advance on Bob Mirovic boxing this month aged 51?

There were two aged (in boxer years) and successful heavyweight boxers competing until recently, but they seem to be inactive now. Bronco Billy Wright last fought in Jan 2016 at the age of 51. He was 52-4 with 43 KO's. Hatzan Chitzas, an Iranian born heavy who fought out of Mexico, last fought in June 2015 at the age of 57. He was 27-1 with all 27 wins by KO.

Wright fought some big names and mostly guys with winning records. He should have gotten a shot at a big money fight.

Chitzas. I think, holds the record for the quickest KO ever, unfortunately on the wrong end.

Johnny Reiffenstein 53 years of age? He fought earlier on this year.

Andreas Sidon is over 50 and still fighting. He fought at least once this year and has one scheduled for early 2018. I can't be bothered to check his exact age right now...

I think the oldest male boxer that is world-class is Firat Arslan who is 47.

One of Pulev's recent opponents has to be close.

Only if he got the Stiverne fight.

Hard to believe that Roy Jones turns 49 next month.

And while he promises to retire after a February bout, there's a good chance that eventually he'll become the sport's oldest active boxer.

And Jones' rival James Toney is closing in on 50.

He fought in 2017 so "Lights Off" has to be considered still active.

Zoltan Petranyi is also 51 and is the oldest fighter currently ranked in the top 100. Mirovic is a few months older but not ranked.
Andreas Sidon has not fought since December 2016 when he beat Danny Williams. He fights in a few weeks time one day short of his 55th birthday.

Of course it's just possible that may not be entirely true.

Steve Ward actually fought this year but it was a BIBA affair, he faced off against Andreas Sidon for some veterans title which was created for the event...
