On boxing Day I had a drink with some of the Mrs family and one asked if I'd heard of an old fighter called Dennis and after a while I said Dennis Andries and it turned out Andries was now working as security on a building site he showed me a picture and it was 100% Dennis Andries the former WBC light heavyweight champion , he still looked in good shape

Herol was supposed to be training Herbie Hide for a return but nothing seems to have come of it.

Yes, that’s his trade. I went to his hotel once and hat a chat with him. He‘s a sound bloke, big for a flyweight too. It must have been a real challenge making the weight.

Gary Stretch is a C list actor and Robin Reid a part time porn star.

David Haye is also a pantomime star.

Gary Stretch is a shocking actor. Luckily the movies he stars in only cost around $25 to make. As a boxer he was a domestic level boxer only at light middleweight and how he got a shot at Chris Eubank for the WBO middleweight title is beyond me.

I think Reid was just a model rather than a porn star, unless he's appearing in films with skagheads from St Helens.

You could say that about quite a few of Eubanks opponents.

Indeed, I have no argument about that point.
