He’s such a c**t
Ignores the AJ ‘hack’ and racist comments but yet he chucks OD under the bus.
The man is a pathological liar....
Why don’t any of the IFL interviews,
Podcasts or interviews in general stick it on him?

Erm because he's pretty much their boss.

What actually did happen with the AJ stuff? What did he actually say
It was all a bit vague.

He said it was obvioulsy a hack. Then a journo with a bit of tech nouse, pointed out it wasn't and then everything went very quiet...
I 'recon Eddie is still pissed at OD for losing to Taylor. Wasn't that a great fight! Did you see Eddie's face in the front row when Davis crumbled? Priceless Kodak moment.

So you think he's pulled him out as a punishment for losing to Taylor?

No, I can't say that. But I do know Eddie wasn't happy about the Taylor loss. If you fall out of favour with a bloke as powerful as Hearn, it's not a good career move, that's for sure.

My view is Eddie Hear is a damn good promoter.
The bloke could sell ice to the eskimo’s.
Like him or not, he has done an outstanding job.

Why do some people believe boxing promoters need to act like Mother Teresa?
Their job is to promote fights, not be guardians of morality

Same with boxers.... if you want innocent altar boys join the clergy.
Davies makes a comment about the sun newspaper and he’s dropped from a promotion... really?

Hearn told him on numerous occasions - including on IFL TV - to stop using Twitter and crack on with his career. Just as with Prince Patel, promoters don't need these young boxers with little or no amateur titles to show for.
Davies tried to sell himself as "Mr Bad Guy". It backfired, just as it backfired with Tyson Fury and to a lesser extend with BJS. Hearn has every right to drop him if he feels that Davies attitude and comments are damaging his business.

Course he's a good promoter. Look at Froch. From not even being on tv to selling out Wembley.
People talk about Hearn being gifted it because of his father. True to an extent but if you're old man gives you the business you still need to run it successfully and he has. Warren had the names, he had the Sky deal. He had the lot as well let's not forget.

I agree.
He's also really good at getting title shots for his fighters, even ones who don't really deserve it.

Joshua would be more popular and generate way more money than Fury even if Fury beat him. You're never going to turn some flapping safety first chubster into a moneymaker.

My favourite moment of last year without a doubt! I'm getting a semi just thinking about it

I just fukkin can't stick Sky just now. As I said I'll watch the fights etc but their constant pushing of the Sky agenda sickens my soul! Great for the causal fan but most hardcore fans can't go it and see through their tripe.

I don't think Eddie minds if Joshua loses a fight. Think of it from his point of view (£££) that a rematch earns more. If Parker beat AJ the rematch would outsell the original fight, and a trilogy is even bigger. The top of the HW tree is thin. If AJ busts through Parker, he only has big fights against Wilder (if it ever happens) and Povitkin, maybe Pulev, and the big IF is Tyson Fury. After that, what is going to bring in the crowds? AJ is young and needs decent opponents to keep the cash rolling...
