If Crawford would've stood at 140 would Mikey Garcia still moved up at this weight ?

At 135 Garcia had some solid fights like Linares, Easter Jr and probably Lomachenko !
Mikey Garcia’s move to 140lbs is supposedly only a temporary one. There’s a video of him on YouTube stating his desire to return to 135lbs immediately after his next bout.apollo creed wrote: ↑05 Jan 2018, 11:16If Crawford would've stood at 140 would Mikey Garcia still moved up at this weight ?

Nope! I can understand the fight with Broner because it made $en$e but why Mikey didn't stay at 135 and try to unify with Linares or Easter Jr who has the IBF title at 135 lbs ?Enlightened-One wrote: ↑05 Jan 2018, 11:21Mikey Garcia’s move to 140lbs is supposedly only a temporary one. Mikey is only 5’ 6” and he’s physically not big enough to permanently campaign at 140lbs.
In fact, the WBC granted special permission to Mikey Garcia to face Sergey Lipinets for the IBF’s 140lbs title under the assumption that he’ll be facing Jorge Linares at 135lbs during his next outing.

There's a lot you don't understand that I cannot be bothered to explain to you. If Mikey Garcia's own words, coupled with the actions of the WBC aren't good enough for you then you really do need to seek help from a professionally-trained mental healthcare specialist.apollo creed wrote: ↑05 Jan 2018, 13:43Nope! He's the same height (maybe taller) as Tim Bradley, Pernell Whitaker, Macho Camacho, Lucas Matthysse, Manny Pacquiao, Ruslan Provodnikov, Ricky Hatton
He moving down to 135 still doesn't mean that being 5'6" isn't "physically not big enough to permanently campaign." Juan Diaz fought at 135 and 140 at 5'6"Enlightened-One wrote: ↑05 Jan 2018, 15:06Mikey Garcia has clearly explained his desire to move back down to 135lbs after his next bout and he's already detailed his reasons for doing so.IKSRTFO wrote: ↑05 Jan 2018, 14:00Enlightened-One wrote: ↑05 Jan 2018, 11:21

Agreed. The guy dominated Dejan coming off a long layoff and a single tuneup, and he moved up to fight Broner. Instead of creating a thread discussing Mikey Garcia’s one-off world title bout at 140lbs, you really wanted to start-up a bandwagon of hatred about the man, by encouraging others to endorse your unsubstantiated belief about him being a “duck”.
You clearly don't know anything about Mikey Garcia's troubled relationship with Top Rank, which promotes Lomachenko and Crawford!
FFS! Why didn’t you just be honest about your opinions and create an anti-Mikey Garcia thread?![]()

saying that a fighter's being 5'6 means he is therefore not physically big enough to campaign at 140lbs is absolutely not a 'factually correct definitive answer', you have been helpfully provided with a list of fighters of 5'6, many of them with smaller frames than Garcia, who campaigned with great success at 140lbs.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑05 Jan 2018, 14:59

NOTE TO READERS: DID YOU EVER NOTICE HOW OFTEN EO USES THREE WORDS WHEN ONE WILL DO? 'FACTUAL', OR 'CORRECT', OR 'DEFINITIVE', WOULD DO, BUT HE CAN'T HELP HIMSELF SAYING ALL THREE? THIS IS A CLASSIC SIGN OF A PERSON TRYING TO APPEAR MORE INTELLIGENT THROUGH HIS USE OF LANGUAGE, AND OVERCOMPENSATING. NOTE, IN MOST OF HIS POSTS, THERE WILL BE SIMILAR SUPERFLUOUS USES OF LANGUAGE, WHERE HE WILL SAY BASICALLY THE SAME THING WITH TWO OR THREE DIFFERENT WORDS. PLEASE DON'T CONFUSE HIS VERBOSITY AND POMPOUS TONE FOR INTELLIGENCE- HE REALLY ISN'T A VERY BRIGHT GUY.

In regards to your irrational rambling spiel that you've articulated using bold uppercase text, I am always capable of justifying my beliefs by citing evidence either from the proverbial "horses mouth" or from reliable sources.
That doesn't require remarkable intellect, instead it demonstrates an ability to effectively quantify one's claims, which requires a certain amount of effort that you regularly fail to demonstrate, hence the reason why I'm always able to argue far more effectively than you can.
Simply put: I reap the rewards of possessing knowledge that was acquired from the amount of effort I expend performing extensive research! Whereas you don't even try, so you always fail.
