Jacobs is a step too far IMO. Too much movemt and punching power. Spike is brave enough to go for it, but I don't want to see him hurt. Shame on Eddie, there are plenty of good 50/50 fights out there for Spike.

I definitely favor Jacobs here. Spike is fun, but doesn't seem to be on this level from anything I've seen.

spike id think isnt well known in the us. the douglas was fight was a nice bit of exposure but nothing serious. id imagine part of that fight was to set up a future 'opponent' for one of their bigger names.

bit disappointed in this tbh. spikes tough but too many levels difference. he shouldve been in with lemieux at toughest. spike vs khurt woulda been a slobber knocker.

Exactly.
Plenty of really good fights out there for Spike, Jacobs wasn't one of them.

I vote Sam Soliman, maybe Andy Lee or definitely Lemieux

Andy Lee is the perfect fight for Jacobs.
World title credentials and a big NY fanbase.
The only problem for Hearn is Lee doesn’t come cheap. Can’t see him digging into his pockets.

im 100 percent set on him fighting lemieux. they make too much sense for each other.

the card could be titled 'billys bitches'
