Four-time world champion in two divisions and #2 ranked Brian “The Hawaiian Punch” Viloria, (38-5, 22 KO’s) of Los Angeles, CA via Waipahu, Hawaii will challenge undefeated and #1 ranked Artem Dalakian, (15-0, 11 KO’s), of Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine for the vacant WBA flyweight world title taking place prior to the HBO Boxing triple header telecast at SUPERFLY 2 set for Saturday February 24, 2018, at the Forum in Los Angeles, CA, it was announced today by Tom Loeffler of 360 Promotions.

Does anyone know anything about Dalakian? He has fought no one of note and yet is getting a title shot.

I donj't know anything about him. Only thing I do know is Viloria is way past his prime. Prophet game has it split even.

Dalakian is a big tough lump who looks crude but very strong and powerful

no idea about art dala either and tbh gonna not search the guy. more fun watching this fight without a clue what to expect

if Viloria still has something left, then its the kind of opponent- straightforward aggressive fighters- he used to look good/brilliant against (career-best performances against Segura and to a lesser extent Marquez, IMO)

if he hasn't, its a long night I guess. would be good to see him have a swansong, smash the guy up and retire on a high note.

Anyone know where one can watch this fight. Unfortunately it's not on the main HBO cast.

dalakian won i think pretty much all the rounds. thought the scores were on point.

ref was poor and way too harsh on dalakian for pushing down when it was viloria often bending down in the first place.
